The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) is partnering with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) to provide a flexible skills-based qualification programme for accounting technicians, who are key contributors to businesses and the accountancy profession.
AAT is the world’s leading professional membership body dedicated to the education and development of accounting technicians. AAT trains over 80,000 students every year and has a global membership of 140,000. AAT qualified staff are recognised by employers worldwide.

Foundation level
Advanced level
Eligible for
The Foundation level equips your staff with skills in finance administration. This level covers a range of basic accounting practices and techniques, from double-entry bookkeeping to costing. Your staff will also gain invaluable self-management and time management skills, and develop an appreciation of ethical issues and sustainability, which is essential in any workplace.
The Advanced level covers more complex accounting tasks, such as maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns. Your staff will also acquire skills in the use of accounting software and develop an understanding of the principles of Singapore law and tax.

Professional level
The Professional level is where your staff will master higher-level accounting tasks, including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance. In addition, they will have the flexibility to select one out of two optional modules they wish to study.

Foundation* Level
3 GCE O-Level passes (C6), including English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
Advanced* Level
2 GCE A-Level passes (A to E) or equivalent, or Higher NITEC in Accounting graduates from Singapore’s Institute of Technical Education (ITE), or equivalent.
*Students are recommended to undertake a Skillcheck Test to determine if they should start at the Foundation or Advanced level.
We offer the flexibility to start at the Foundation or Advanced level, depending on current skills.
