Leadership ModelStructural Framework
To conduct analyst and create design on matter such as
structure, strategy, environment, implementation, experimentation
and adaptation.
Human Resource Framework
To support, advocate and allow empowerment. Believe in people
and communicate with them.
Political FrameworkIt is in support of coalition/work together or team
building. Clarify what they expect and what to receive and assess distribution of power and build
support from others like stakeholders.
Types of LeadershipDirective leader
Lets subordinate know what’s expected of them, schedules work to be done, and gives specific guidance on how to accomplish tasks.
Supportive leader
Show concern for the needs of followers and is friendly.
Participative leader
Consults with group members and uses their suggestion before making decision.
Authoritarian leader
Task oriented and expected people to carry out work as instructed and focus on faults rather on results. This type of leader is more difficult to get along with
subordinates. They only know use their power and try to make difficulties rather to solve it.
Team Leader
Leads by positive example and involve as a team. Encourage to achieve goals together. This leader leads the most productive team.
Country Club leader
This leader applies power to maintain discipline and to encourage a team to achieve goals.
Hopeless Leader
They apply delegation and disappear management. Not committed seriously to achieve goals. Allow team members to carry out as they wish
and prefer. They employee usually suffer power struggle.
COMMUNICATION
Communication is sending and receiving information between two or more people. The person sending the message is referred to as the sender, while the person receiving the information is called the receiver. The information conveyed can include facts, ideas, concepts, opinions, beliefs, attitudes, instructions and even emotions.
TYPES OF COMMUNICATION
• Nonverbal communication
Describes the process of conveying meaning in the form of non-word messages. Examples of nonverbal communication include gestures, body language, facial expression, eye contact, and how one dresses.
• Verbal Communication
Effective verbal or spoken communication is dependent on a number of factors and cannot be fully isolated from other important interpersonal skills such as non-verbal communication, listening skills and clarification.
Barriers to effective human communication
I. Physical barriers. Physical barriers are often due to the nature of the environment.
II. System design. System design faults refer to problems with the structures or systems in place in an organization
III. Cultural differencesThese may result from the cultural differences of communities around the world, within an individual country (tribal/regional differences, dialects
IV. Individual linguistic ability. The use of difficult or inappropriate words in communication can prevent the recipients from understanding the message.
V. Physiological barriers.These may result from individuals' personal discomfort, caused—for example—by ill health, poor eyesight or hearing difficulties.
MOTIVATION
An inferred process within an animal or an individual that causes that organism to move towards a goal or an inner forces of an individual that
stimulate enthusiasm and perseverance to achieve a certain goals.
Islamic view:-it views motivation from the knowledge of the revealed sources i.e. al-
quran and al-hadith i.e. tawheed and akhirat.

Rewards refers to all of the monetary, non-monetary and psychological payments that an organizational provides for its employees in exchange for the work they perform.
