Control UnitThe control unit is the brain of the system, itcontrols the anti-leaking detector, the flow, the solenoid valve and it reports errors.

Carbon StageThe carbon stage is designed toremove any tastes and odors. Weaim to specifically remove thechemical elements such aschlorine.

Sediment StageThe sediment filter is the2nd stage of the SmartDrop, it removes heavyparticles up to 5 micron.

Solenoid valveThe valve accepts the water coming from thefeed and shuts down when you close the faucet, this prevents any leaks in the unit.

Rotary Brass pumpRotary vane Brass pump, designed for highpressures, it has the capacity to deliver 80gal-per-hour, enough to make the systemtankless with an on-demand purified flow.

180W E-MotorThe motor creates the requiredpressure (130PSI) to have the waterflow through the 4 stages quickly andsteadily, giving the capacity to deliver25 Gal-per-Hour of purified water on-demand.

Two 180 GPD membranesThe RO membranes are the mostimportant stages in the filtration process, they are able to removeparticles and pollutants up to0,0002 micron.

WHAT IS REVERSE OSMOSIS?

To understand the purpose and process of Reverse Osmosis you must first understand the naturally occurring process of Osmosis.

Osmosis is a naturally occurring phenomenon and one of the most important processes in nature. It is a process where a weaker saline solution will tend to migrate to a strong saline solution. Examples of osmosis are when

plant roots absorb water from the soil and our kidneys absorb water from our blood.

A semi-permeable membrane is a membrane that will allow some atoms or molecules to pass but not others. A simple example is a screen door. It allows air molecules to pass through but not pests or anything larger than

the holes in the screen door. Another example is Gore-tex clothing fabric that contains an extremely thin plastic film into which billions of small pores have been cut. The pores are big enough to let water vapor

through, but small enough to prevent liquid water from passing.

Reverse Osmosis is the process of Osmosis in reverse. Whereas Osmosis occurs naturally without energy required, to reverse the process of osmosis you need to apply energy to the more saline solution. A reverse osmosis membrane is a semi-permeable membrane that allows the passage of water molecules but not the majority of

dissolved salts, organics, bacteria and pyrogens. However, you need to 'push' the water through the reverse osmosis membrane by applying pressure that is greater than the naturally occurring osmotic pressure

FACTS

One investigation in the New York Times, for instance, found that American tap water contributes to rashes and skin burns, erodes tooth enamel, and often contains arsenic, lead, barium, and other toxic chemicals. An Associated Press investigation  found numerous contaminants  in every state’s school water. Data from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) revealed 1 out of every 5 schools investigated violated the Safe Drinking Water Act during the past decade. The EPA and Congress regulate over 100 pollutants and 91 chemicals through the Safe Drinking Water Act. Even so, EPA administrator Lisa Jackson admits that American waterfails to meet public health goals, and water pollution law enforcement is unacceptably low. These countless microorganisms and toxins in tap water can contribute to allergy symptoms and disease. Removing these chemicals from your drinking water will significantly reduce your internal toxic load and may improve your body’s natural ability to deal with allergy symptoms.

Water makes up approximately 60 percent of the human body. Your blood is 93 percent water and your muscles are about 75 percent water. Optimal water intake is an essential for human survival.Tap, carbon filtered, alkaline, and even some bottled water contains chemicals, heavy metals, nuclear material, and potential allergens. By drinking purified water, you will minimize your exposure to contaminants and may potentially reduce your allergy symptoms.Purified water comes from two methods of filtration: either distillation or reverse osmosis. Many patients ask me, “Isn’t distilled water — dead water? There are no minerals in it!”Yes, both distilled and reverse osmosis water are devoid of minerals, but ingesting mineral-free purified water is not harmful to your body.Rainwater is not “dead water!” Minerals are essential to our cellular metabolism, growth, and vitality, and we get majority of them from eating food, not drinking water. Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds, and you will be optimally mineralized and alkalized.

FACTS

Among the toxic chemicals you eliminate with an RO unit is arsenic.

A disturbing study in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives  found arsenic  is prevalent in American drinking water and can contribute to skin cancer.Chlorine is another prevalent toxin in tap water. A study in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives  found chlorination disinfection byproducts in drinking water, such as trihalomethanes (THMs), could potentially contribute to low birth weight, preterm birth, birth defects, fetal deaths, and other adverse pregnancy problems.

An RO unit completely filters all natural and synthetic toxins, microbes, debris, and minerals.

When you drink water filtered through an RO unit, you’re getting 100 percent pure, high-quality drinking water that tastes great.

Until you install a reverse osmosis unit, buy purified bottled water, triple-filtered (reverse osmosis, carbon filtered and ozonated) and preferably, in glass (not plastic) bottles. The label should indicate that its water has been filtered and processed through a reverse osmosis (RO) unit.

PETROLEUM

Volatile organic compounds from petroleum are toxic and foul the air, and some like

benzene are extremely toxic,

carcinogenic and cause DNA damage

PAGE

OIL REFINARY

The materials used in the production of plastics are

natural products such as natural gas, crude oil. Crude oil is a

complex mixture of thousands of compounds. To become useful, it

must be processed.

PLASTIC AND PET

It is made from polyethylene terephthalate, also known as PET.

The process by which the plastic is forced into the mold

is called injection molding.

BOTTLES

People have claimed chemicals inside plastics leach into food

or drink causing cancer. In particular there have been concerns about Bisphenol

A (BPA) and dioxins in plastic bottles or plastic containers.

PLASTIC FACTS

The label on your bottled water may depict a peaceful mountain stream, but that doesn't mean the water inside is pure and pristine.Only some bottled water comes from springs or groundwater sources. It turns out that approximately 25% of bottled water is sourced from ... the tap. Sure, some companies filter or radiate the tap water with ultraviolet light before selling it to you at several thousand times the cost of municipal tap water. (Examples include Aquafina, Dasani, and many other brands.)

Moreover, studies show that bottled water samples can contain phthalates, mold, microbes, benzene, trihalomethanes, even arsenic. And only recently did the FDA start regulating bottled water

Bottled water companies increasingly use BPA-free plastic, but laced into plastic bottles are other chemicals that can seep out if bottles are exposed to heat or sit around for a long time. Some of these chemicals are possible endocrine disruptors.

FDA (Food and Drug Administration) reports that bottled waters have an unclear shelf life

So, the question is — can the water inside not go bad? Well, it doesn’t go bad, however, things like plastic packaging & environmental factors make it bad.

HOW CHLORINE AFFECTS WATER?What if that clear, clean-looking liquid you use every day – to quench your thirst, to bathe and shower in, and to wash your dishes

and laundry in contributed to dozens of everyday ailments

Truth is, the water we use in and around our homes is far from the fresh, pure resource you might assume. And the worst part is... Americans are ingesting from 300 to 600 times what the Environmental Protection Agency considers a “safe” amount while

chlorine itself is relatively benign, and was created to help keep us free from infectious diarrheas, it reacts with organic materials which already dissolve in water, forming chemicals (known as DBP's) that are over 100 times more toxic than chlorine.

The Bottled Water Scandal If you think you're protected because you drink bottled water – think again. The truth is about 40 percent of bottled water is regular tap water.

And it gets even worse because while large public water suppliers must test for contaminants up to seven times a day, private bottlers need only test for contaminants once a week, once a year, or once every four years, depending on the contaminant.

In fact, contaminant testing on over a hundred different bottled waters have turned up chemicals like arsenic and carcinogenic compounds, fluoride (a dangerous bone poison), the toxic metal antimony, disinfection byproducts like THMs, and pharmaceutical

drugs. To add insult to injury, the chemicals that leach out of bottled water's plastic packages are also highly toxic.

Don't end up a victim of the bottled water hype. Find out about the open fraud the fat cats in bottled water companies are getting away with by getting your free copy of “Is Your Water Safe” right away!

Sounds pretty scary, doesn't it?

HOW CHLORINE AFFECTS WATER?So If Chlorine Is So Toxic, Why Haven't The Government Authorities

Done Anything About It? Over the last 30 years, a growing body of research has shown the assorted disinfection by-products of chlorine (DBP's) are very harmful to your health,

however organisations like the Chlorine Institute and the Chemical Manufacturers Association have a serious and well-funded interest in

maintaining the status quo.

So you can forget about getting any help from the chemical lobbies to clean up your water source and your environment.

For instance, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) used to have a maximum contaminant level goal (MLCG) of zero for chloroform in drinking

water due to its potential toxicity.

However, the EPA was forced to remove the zero standard – effective as of May 30, 2000 – after the MCLG was successfully challenged in court by the Chlorine Chemistry Council and the Chemical Manufacturers Association.

And that's why Dr. Mercola has decided to step forward and shout the truth about chlorine. He has invested significant time and money into finding out what everyone should know about modern water sanitization, how it can damage your health and how to protect yourself. All of this research has

been compiled into a limited supply, hot off the press report which reveals what everyone should know about chlorine.
