PUB GUIDEYOUR HOLIDAY STARTS HERE
TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT
Over 120 pubs and bars acrossthe Isle of Wight
A place to come together with family and friends, pubs are the centre of communities the country over, and the Island boasts more than its fair share.
There are olde worlde pubs with beams and roaring log fires, inns in superb coastal locations providing a breath of sea air and pubs with outdoor play areas and gardens. There are also plenty of stylish and contemporary bars on the Island providing a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you are in search of real ales or fine wines, looking for hearty traditional pub grub or more contemporary cuisine, the Isle of Wight has a venue to suit your taste.Blessed with some of the most beautiful locations on the south coast, you can enjoy a cold glass of wine in the summer overlooking the sea or cosy up by a fire with a winter warmer in a snug bar.
The pubs and bars are kept well-stocked by the local breweries, vineyards and a distillery that provide some excellent quality tipples. Many pubs source their produce locally- try fresh seafood, farm reared meats and fruit and veg grown in our fertile soils.
WELCOME TO YOUR IW PUB GUIDE
The humble, local pub is a great British institution...

The Wheatsheaf: After an adventure in Bouldner Forest, The Wheatsheaf Inn in Yarmouth makes the ideal rest stop. Catering for everyone, including the pup, try their seasonal dishes or a legendary ‘Fat Shaun’ burger.
The Sun Inn: The Sun Inn, Hulverstone are such dog lovers, they offer a special dogs menu! Set in the perfect spot for a country walk, your canine pal won’t feel left out. For posing pooches, upload your doggie selfie to their Facebook page.
The Pilot Boat: A popular pit-stop in Bembridge, The Pilot Boat welcomes everyone including your four-legged friends. If it’s a sea dog you are bringing, they also run a water taxi service direct from the marina.
Kynges Well: At this Brading pub you will certainly find a few pub dogs. Doggie biscuits sit alongside bar snacks, but we doubt you will have anything leftover to take home in a doggie bag; the food here is delicious.
The Three Bishops: With plenty of space in and out of this beautiful country pub set in the heart of picturesque Brighstone village, the pooch will be very happy. There are plenty of dog walks nearby and then you can relax with a pint of real ale.
