Accommodation

• Staff Chalets: At the end of pupil blocks• Pupil Chalets: Single sex, en-suite, sleep 7-8

pupils – pupil choice• Supervision: At all times by school staff or

PGL staff• Security: Provided at night by PGL• Communication: Pupils will know how to

contact staff during the night• Checks: Staff will supervise until children

are settled and sleeping

Medical & Consent Forms

• Please complete these as soon as possible for my MASTER SPREADSHEET

• All medicines must be those prescribed by family GP – Calpol/ travel sickness tablets must be accompanied by a medical form available from the EMS website/ Office

• Ibuprofen• Medicines must be in the original packaging

and written details must be given to the school

• Asthma inhalers will be treated as normal• Please notify the school about additional

concerns – bedwetting/ sleepwalking

Food

• All meals are provided except for a packed lunch on the Monday – FSM packed lunch provided by EMS

• Vegetarian dishes are catered for• No need for food stashes or tuck boxes!

What to Bring• Check list in PGL Leaflet• Avoid expensive new clothes• Avoid jeans• Assume there will be rain!• Plastic bag for wet/ muddy clothes• Suitable footwear – walking boots/ trainers NOT wellies!• Long-sleeved T-shirts and tops• Warm jacket or coat• ONE smarter outfit for the DISCO• Provide a list of clothing for inside of the bag• Named items• Please only ONE packed bag plus small travel bag for

lunch on Monday

Kit List• Suitable night wear• Underwear (socks will need to cover ankles for many activities)• Trousers/ leggings (not jeans)• Pair of trainers (sensible walking shoes)• Pair of dry shoes (for evening activities)• Fleeces/ sweatshirts• Long sleeved shirts (or long sleeved t-shirts)• Waterproof jacket• Warm anorak or similar• Warm hat• Evening clothes (1 or 2 sets)• Disco outfit (flares not obligatory, except for Mr Rangdale)• Towel for showering (an additional towel is useful for wet days)• Plastic drink bottle• Small rucksack/ bag (can be used to carry packed lunch on Monday)• Bin bag (useful for wet and dirty clothing)• Washbag (soap, shampoo and toothpaste)• Disposable camera• Torch (wind up LED ones are good)• Card/ travel games
