As of December 31, 2010, Indofood’s 8,780,426,500 shares with a par value of Rp100 per share, were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with total registered shareholders exceeding 15,400. Share volume traded on the regular market during 2010 totaled 5,354,301,000 share at prices ranging from Rp3,300 per share to Rp5,800 per share and closing price at Rp4,875.
Per 31 Desember 2010, sejumlah 8.780.426.500 saham Indofood dengan nilai nominal Rp100 per saham, tercatat pada Bursa Efek Indonesia, dengan jumlah pemegang saham melebihi 15.400. Volume saham yang diperdagangkan di pasar reguler selama tahun 2010 berjumlah 5.354.301.000 dengan harga berkisar antara Rp3.300 per saham hingga Rp5.800 per saham dan ditutup pada harga Rp4.875.

Tbk (Indofood) has been progressively transformed to
become a Total Food Solutions company with operations
in all stages of food manufacturing from the production
of raw materials and their processing through to
consumer products on the retailer’s shelf. Today, it is
renowned as a well-established company and a leading
player in each category of business in which it operates.
In its business operations, Indofood capitalized on its
resilient business model with four complementary
Strategic Business Groups (Group), namely:
• Consumer Branded Products (CBP). Its business
activities are conducted by PT Indofood CBP
Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), which was listed on
the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on 7 October
2010. ICBP is one of the leading packaged food
producers in Indonesia, with a wide range of
packaged food products. ICBP product brands are
among the strongest brands with the most significant
mindshare in Indonesia for consumer food brands.
• Bogasari, primarily a producer of wheat flour as
well as pasta. Its business operations is also
supported by shipping and packaging units.
• Agribusiness. Its business activities are concentrated
in Indofood Agri Resources Ltd. (IndoAgri), listed
on the Singapore Stock Exchange, and its
subsidiaries which include PT PP London Sumatra
Indonesia Tbk (Lonsum), listed on the Indonesia
Stock Exchange. The Group’s business principal
activities range from research and development,
seed breeding, oil palm cultivation and milling; as
well as the production and marketing of branded
cooking oils, margarine and shortening. In addition,
the Group is also involved in the cultivation and
processing of rubber and sugar cane as well as other
crops.

Indonesia’s economy achieved strong growth during
2010, with Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growing at
6.1% driven mainly by private domestic consumption.
Achievement of per capita income of US$3,000 is often
considered a benchmark for further economic progress.
Interest rates were maintained at the record low level
of 6.5% throughout the year, encouraging strong activity
in the consumer sector. At the same time, the inflation
rate accelerated, particularly in the second semester,
caused by increasing commodity prices brought by
adverse weather conditions.

charting the strategic direction to ensure the relevance
and competitiveness of our products, while we persevere
in managing our supply chain efficiently and effectively.
To this end, we remain optimistic that Indofood will
continue to rise above the challenges and sustain its
performance.

pengelolaan mata rantai pasokan akan dilakukan secara

The sound domestic economic conditions in 2010
presented us with opportunities, particularly in consumer
branded segments. Rising commodity prices in the
second half of the year posed a challenge to our CBP
Group, but offered advantage to our Agribusiness Group.
We are gratified to have achieved very strong results
and sustained growth in our performance for six
consecutive years. Net income soared to Rp2.95 trillion,
while core or recurring profit rose to Rp2.98 trillion,
growing by 42.2% and 72.5% respectively. Our results
reflect the underlying strength of our core businesses
and management’s adeptness in responding to market
opportunities and challenges.
