LT3 series alternators are single-phase brushless units. Thesealternators are operationally highly reliable due to years of researchand development in the electric sector. These units do not requiremaintenance since they do not have slip rings nor slipping contacts.The design and realization of these units were carefully done tofacilitate as much as possible the coupling to the engine in all theforeseen constructive forms. The LT3 alternators are built accordingto EN60034-1 norm.

MECHANICAL STRUCTUREThe end brackets are diecast in high resistance aluminium alloy.The shaft is in C45 steel. Ventilation by aluminum fan keyed ontoshaft. The rotor has damping cage for an improved waveform ofthe generated voltage. The roller bearing series 6205 2RS issealed type.

INSULATIONThe insulation is class H and the windings are impregnated withepoxy resins.

SELF REGULATIONThe self-excitation is guaranteed by an auxiliary winding whichis positioned at an angle with regards to the power winding andwhich is loaded with a capacitor. The rectification of the inducedvoltage from the inverse field in the rotor which is a function ofthe load current, guarantees a good self-regulation.

VOLTAGE ACCURACYThe voltage accuracy in static conditions is maintained within ±6%.

TRANSIENT VOLTAGE DROPWhen full load is applied the transient voltage drop is lower than10%.

RECOVERY TIMEWhen full load is applied the voltage returns to nominal value inless than 0.1 seconds.

OVERLOADSPermissible overload is of 10% for one hour every 3 hours.

OPERATION AT SLOW SPEEDSThe self-regulalion of the LT3 series alternators allows slow speedoperat ion without danger of undergoing damages.

RADIO INTERFERENCEThe standard units meet EN50081-1 and EN50082-1 standards.Upon request, we are available to study and produce filtersaccording to more restrictive specifications.

I generatori della serie LT3 sono monofasi senza spazzole. Sonogeneratori di elevata affidabilità di funzionamento, risultato diaccurati studi e di anni di ricerca ed esperienza nella costruzionedi macchine elettriche. Non richiedono inoltre manutenzioni nonessendoci collettori o contatti striscianti. Il design e la realizzazionesono stati particolarmente curati per facilitare il più possibilel'accoppiamento dell'alternatore al motore per tutte le formecostruttive previste. I generatori LT3 sono costruiti secondo lenorma EN60034-1.

STRUTTURA MECCANICAI coperchi sono pressofusi in lega di alluminio ad alta resistenza.L’albero è in acciaio C45. Ventilazione mediante ventola di alluminiocalettata sull'albero. Il rotore presenta la gabbia smorzatrice permigliorare la forma d'onda della tensione generata. Il cuscinettoa rotolamento è di tipo stagno serie 6205 2RS.

ISOLAMENTIGli isolamenti sono in classe H e gli avvolgimenti sono impregnaticon resine epossidiche.

REGOLAZIONEL’avvolgimento ausiliario, spostato angolarmente rispettoall'avvolgimento di potenza e caricato da una capacità, ne assicural'autoeccitazione. Il raddrizzamento della tensione indotta dalcampo inverso nel rotore, funzione della corrente di carico, neassicura una buona autoregolazione.

PRECISIONE DELLA TENSIONELa precisione della tensione in condizioni statiche è mantenutaentro ± 6%.

CADUTA DI TENSIONE TRANSITORIAAll'inserimento del pieno carico la caduta di tensione transitoriaè inferiore al 10%.

TEMPI DI RISPOSTAAll'inserimento del pieno carico la tensione ritorna al valorenominale in meno di 0,1 secondi.

SOVRACCARICHIIl sovraccarico ammesso è del 10% per un'ora ogni tre ore.

MARCIA A VELOCITA RIDOTTAAutoregolazione della serie LT3 consente di operare a velocitàridotta senza subire alcun danno.

DISTURBI RADIOLa produzione di serie soddisfa la norma EN50081-1 e EN50082-1. Su richiesta siamo disponibili a studiare e realizzare filtri pernormative piu’ restrittive.
