District Project Manager September 2014 – To Date HANDS Pakistan
Working as a District Project Manager in HANDS for the Sindh Reading Program (funded by USAID) and I was entitled to carry out following duties.
To work closely with the staff in the day-to-day operation of collection of reports To guide & supervise subordinate & setting of plans for project goals To supervise volunteer crew members and assist in their in-house training to ensure learning
objectives of the project. To initiate actions aimed at breaking down passivity, apathy and attitude of letting other do things
from them To raise awareness that community members themselves can move each community out of
illiteracy and show them ways they can do this themselves. To encourage and stimulate full participation by all community members & staff, with special
attention to those who are usually forgotten, marginalized and overlooked in community decision making.
