SNOW!!!!

What an amazing week it has been! We haven't seen snow like this for a long

time at Old Ford! Our pupils have been out every day

enjoying themselves and playing in the snow. Every

single one of our pupils has been playing safely and

sensibly and I have seen some incredible snowmen!

BONUS WRISTBAND ATTENDANCE WEEK

Despite the cold weather, our pupils enthusiastically came into school this week, braving the

cold weather and keen to carry on with their learning. Well done to all our wristband attend-

ance winners this week. Keep your eyes out for the next colour.......

We have a special performance by our Young

Voices choir for those of you who couldn't

make it to the O2. This will be at 3:30pm on

WORLD BOOK DAY

A huge range of book characters turned up to

celebrate World Book Day yesterday. We had

three Gangster Grannies, Katniss from the Hun-

ger Games, Stanley from Holes, Wally, Pad-

dington Bear.... - and that was just the staff!!

ADVANCE NOTICE - NURSERY CLOSURE

The nursery will be closed for the week from Monday 26th March so that

staff can conduct home visits on the children who will join the nursery in

September 2018.

School will resume for all nursery pupils on Monday 16th April 2018 at 8.55am.

BREAKFAST CLUB/MORNING ADDITIONAL

LEARNING SESSIONS

Breakfast club takes place every morning from

8.00am. Please do not leave your children at

school, unsupervised before this time as there is

no one to look after them. If you would like

your child/ren to join breakfast club, please

speak to Kim in the ground floor hall, any morn-

ing from 8.00am.

Morning ALS starts at 8.15am. Pupils should not

be brought/left at school before then.

DROP IN SESSIONS - FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER

Do you need support with benefits, behaviour

management, fussy eating? Then come and

see Lutfa Family Support Worker from Overland

Childrens Centre. She will be running drop in

sessions every Monday from 9am- 11am. Please

see school office to make an appointment
