Questions in the quiz pertained to Fuel Conservation, Environment, General Studies and General Knowledge. The Modern School team was adjudged, the District Level Winner of the competition and went on to represent the state at the National level. Pradyumn Arora (S6I) and Agrim Jain (S3B) were awarded a cash prize of ₹3000 each, and a certificate by PCRA. A DECISIVE VICTORYModem School, Barakhamba Road was awarded the "OVERALL

BEST SCHOOL DELEGATION" at Amity International Model United Nations UnitedNNations

A CLEAN SWEEPModern School, Barakhamba Road was awarded the “OVERALL BEST SCHOOL DELEGATION" at Singapore International Model United Nations. Modern School made a clean sweep with students winning awards in each committee. It was one of the largest Round Square Conferences, that hosted delegates not only from India but also international delegates from all over the continent. The 11th iteration of SISMUN took place online from 24th to 25th October. With more than two hundred and fifty participants, there was a magnificent display of the finer nuances of conducting meaningful research and oration by the participants. Members of the MUN Society, who represented Modern School, Barakhamba Road

held from 14th to 16th October. It was one of the largest conferences that hosted delegates, not only from India but also, international delegates from countries like France, Spain, Finland, Slovakia and Russia. Under these unforeseen circumstances, the 13th iteration of AIMIN took place online. With more than 300 participants, the event was an absolute display of inspired diplomacy while navigating through international issues and finding feasible solutions. Some of the brightest minds of the MUN

society represented Modem School, Barakhambha Road at AIMUN. They showcased their understanding of International Law and Relations while exhibiting eloquence, presence of mind, and leadership skills.

INTERNATIONAL ACCLAIMThe E-Ahmed MUN is one of the most prestigious Round Square

Model UN conferences in the Sultanate of Oman. The fifth edition, which was held from 24th to 25th October 2020, took place, virtually. This two-day conference provided students with unique educational opportunities, as they drafted resolutions, engaged in heated debates, mastered the art of diplomacy and negotiation, while discussing issues of global concern.

A delegation of five students represented Modern School, at the conference and displayed great knowledge of diplomacy. Four delegates bagged awards. UNSC - Aadya Gupta (S5E) - Diplomacy award DISEC - Maira Aggarwal (S5A) - Diplomacy award UNFAO - Nainika Prakash (S5B) - Diplomacy awardUNHRC - Aarav Bajaj (S4D) - Verbal Mention

EXPOSURE OF TALENTModern School, Barakhamba Road, participated in, EXPOSURE, 2020, a photography competition organised by Sanskriti School. The competition gave students a platform to showcase their photography, movie making and ad-making skills and included a surprise event . Modern School participated in three events of the competition, namely:Photo Story Surprise EventLight Painting Aarushi Vohra (S7B) and Madhav Goel (S7F) secured the Third position in the Photo Story Event .Sanya Tawakley (S7I) secured the Third position in the Light Painting Event

The conference hosted over four hundred, extremely proficient delegates from more than ten different countries and fifty different schools. The chief guests for the opening and closing ceremony were eminent dignitaries such as the Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, H.E.Munu Mahawar and H.E. Indra Mani Pandey who has been appointed as the permanent representative of India at the United Nations in Geneva and has represented India in the ILO, DISEC, UNGA and UNSC conferences.
