With warm regards, VARUN GURJER President Issue 248 January 2020 For Internal Circulation Only Dear Fellow Members, We saw a fun-filled and festive December capping 2019, with a flurry of events and activities for everyone. Superstar Cricketer Dwayne Bravo, the star performer of the Chennai Super Kings team, conducted a Children's Cricket Camp at the sports pavilion. Held in conjunction with the Cricket League, this event was a major draw with children and adults alike lining up to meet the champion. The Cricket League had around 80 participants vying for the winner's trophy, which was presented by the star player. Having turned music performer and popularly called DJ Bravo, the cricketer performed and played his hit songs with his team. The Maestro of the “Double Violin”, L Shankar along with Chitravina Ravikiran, held the audience spellbound in a classical music concert on December 7 . Christmas Week kickstarted with “Carol Nite”. Celebrations continued with the ever-popular Children's Christmas Party, a Bonfire and the Christmas Eve, that spanned the entire week and lent a festive atmosphere to the club. The customary sumptuous Christmas Buffet Lunch with Roast Turkey & Plum Pudding and New Year's buffet dinner were well organized by the catering department. At the New Year's Eve Ball, “ONEmpire” the band from Mumbai performed and had the crowds swinging well into the wee hours of the morning. The Library Committee organized the screening of 'Velvet Revolution' an IAWRT presentation of a documentary film, produced and directed by an independent journalist Smt. Nupur Basu. In an attempt to minimize our carbon footprint, the Club has undertaken measures to segregate waste, harvest rainwater, reduce food wastage etc. Suggestions to make the club cleaner and greener are invited and we encourage members to adopt sustainable practices at homes and offices. We hope we can do our bit in healing the planet. The General Committee and I wish you and your families the very best in 2020! We th wish that the New year brings you joy and peace. Dear Fellow Members,

We saw a fun-filled and festive December capping 2019, with a flurry of events and activities for everyone.

A member entertaining guest shall pay all chargesand expenses incurred and shall not allow anyguests to make use of the Club in his / her absence,or, sign chits, or, use the Club cash coupons in his /hername. Members shall immediately on their arrivalin the Club, enter the names and other details oftheir guests legibly in the Guest Book or register onthe computer operated for the purpose beforeavailing of any facility in the Club.

Members entertaining guest without signing theGuest Register or registering their guests on thecomputer operated for the purpose, will be levieda penalty amounting to five times the normal guestcharges.
