EOI's should address the following criteria:
Coaches
Coaching accreditation level. A current “Smart Rugby Certificate” and working to complete Level 2, or holding a Level 2 or 3 Coaching Award is essential for working with senior and colts teams. A Foundation Level Coaching Certificate is required for all junior teams and “Coaching Kids Rugby” is the minimum qualification required for coaching Pathway Teams.
Coaching history (including organisation and grade)
Problem solving and communication skills
Ability to "think on the run" and deal with a range of stakeholders
Coaching philosophy
Interpersonal skills and ability to deal with players at all age groups

Assistant Referee Courses (All junior teams receive a bonus point when they provide an accredited (Assistant Referee Course) touch judge for their game. So the more Assistant Referees we have the less burden there will be on all of us.)

The 2015 Super XV season is only 3 months away with the Rebels playing their first home game at AAMI Park on Friday 20th Feb against the defending champions of Super Rugby, the NSW Waratahs. We have much to be excited about for the new season with Tony McGahan and his Assistant Coaches overseeing an exciting young playing group with a bright future. The best example of that potential we saw last week with our very own Sean McMahon making his test debut at Millennium Stadium Cardiff against the Welsh. This coupled with a strong NRC season have helped engender a good spirit within the club.
With my recent move into the Rebels CEO role, I want to continue the journey of creating greater alignment between the Community game and the Rebels. In that regard I wish to create an advisory representative group from within Club Rugby to liaise with the Rebels on a whole variety of matters ranging from Rebels Memberships, Five Star Engagement , Communication Strategies and how we get greater reach and awareness of the game within the community. This advisory group will prove to be a ready made "focus group" for the Rebels Commercial & Communications Teams to take soundings from as regards future branding, communication and marketing initiatives to maximise the connectedness between Community Rugby & the Rebels.
In this regard, I would like each club to nominate a
representative who would be interested in participating in this group. Ideally, we are looking for the 20-30 year old tech savvy demographic. We are also looking for a good gender mix to ensure we get the broadest possible range of views. If you could please advise your names to Aleasha Murphy ASAP.
The first project I would like this group to be involved in is a Rebels membership drive for Community Clubs that rewards clubs for signing up new members. Still to be finalised, but key features would be:
Incentivize clubs to sign up new members.
Should clubs sign up a certain number of new members then a percentage of the dollar value of those new membership sales will be rebated back to the clubs as a donation from the Rebels
Would apply regardless of the membership category
