And the New Year has begun! Our biggest news is that we have our AGM coming up on Tuesday, 26 Feb, at 5:30 in the school library. I will be stepping down and someone else will be the P&C President on the night. All positions on the committee will be open. We need two Vice Presidents, a Secretary, an Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer. We will also open the position of Fund Raising Coordinator. On top of all of that, still looking for someone willing to put some effort into writing grant applications. I will still be available to provide guidance. I highly encourage you to become involved and join the committee. You will be working with the Principal of the School on important issues that affect your child. The prize-winners of our big raffle at the end of 2018 have been posted on the P&C Facebook page. If you have any questions, please call me. Renee Thompson 0421 435 646
Riding to School
A reminder to parents and care givers that children from Kindergarten –Year 2 must be accompanied by an adult and wear a helmet when riding bikes or scooters to or from school. Competent and confident riders in Year 3-6 may ride unaccompanied at parent discretion. These children should be aware of the road rules, able to follow them and always wear a helmet. When entering the school grounds children must dismount their bike or scooter and wheel it sensibly to the bike racks. Bikes or scooters should never be ridden within the school grounds.
