    Dear Parents:

On Wednesday, February 1 we will be hosting a Grade 4 to Grade 5

Transition Meeting for parents. If your child will be moving from

Elementary School into Middle School next school year, we

encourage you to attend. We will be sharing information about life

    in Middle School.

Each grade level has been busily planning and preparing activities

for the Classroom Without Walls week from February 20 to

February 24. Information will be sent out via your childs

Homebase. Please make sure to keep an eye out for the

information and return the signed permission slip to school via your

child. If you have any questions about the activities, please

    contact your childs Homebase teacher.

    Have a great weekend!

Last week, six talented singers attended AMIS Honor Mixed Choir festival at the AmericanEmbassy School in New Delhi, India. Since being selected by audition in October, the stu-dents have been working hard to learn the challenging repertoire, meeting weekly to putthe soprano, alto and baritone parts together. Arriving in New Delhi, they rehearsed dili-

gently for three days and then performed two concerts singing in five languages with a com-bined choir from over 15 international schools. Congratulations to Won Joon Choi, Evie Cole-man, Katelyn Grandy, William Kertzman, Sebi Matera and Emmy Nam for representing ISM sowell through their exemplary participation. The students also had a chance to visit somelocal bazaars and even see the Taj Mahal! A special thank you to Melodie Hausman as theircoach and Carrie Grev for assisting with the festival.
