• Roadmap for IPv6 in India– Stage 1 (Dec 2004): Undertake detailed transition

study. All major ISPs and education networks IPv6-aware.

– Stage 2 (Aug 2005): Deployment of IPv6 testbeds invovling industry

– Stage 3 (Sep 2004): ERNET, BSNL/VSNL + 2 large ISPs deploy selected commercial IPv6 services

– Stage 4 (Aug 2004): Mass awareness initiative for end-users
