• Art Content is everywhere and around us,• A huge volume of text + images on the web…,• Cumbersome and superficial searches,• Text + Images must be often associated,• Images must be visible, printable and protected,• Issues of trust, security, DRMS• Delivery mechanism (online vs. Offline)

• Researchers and Educators users need to find, learn, (publish) and share content quickly and properly,
• Academic work, courseware, passion, needs efficient and economical driven digital contents access and publishing tools,

• High quality, affordable digital printing is now available,
• It must be managed to protect owner’s image quality standards,
• It must protect against illegal duplication and copyrights infringements.
Art On Demand Objectives
• Create a unique, intuitive, multilingual, open and « deep » access to Art contents, at minimal cost,
• Distribute digital contents « on demand » (Print, CD,DVD….)
• Provide users (individual and groups) with innovative tools (built around standards) to communicate and share art knowledge,
• Share resources and reduce investment / operational costs.

• Providing a « portfolio » of the most well know 20+ galleries and museums from around the world,
• Sharing and selling this valuable content through a powerful but easy to use online system,
• Deliverying the high quality content on-the-fly,• DRMS to automatically share the IPR between
the various actors involved in the workflow

• Initiative focus on HP Designjet 5500ps printer (42’’ and 60’’ inches),
• UV inks-70 years of permanance,• Teaching users how to handle and store digital
prints properly (surface scratch still a common problem!…),
• Core system is the Kiosk (touch screen « totem »), the server and the printer

• A secured, Peer to Peer Art Index Portal built from open web sources and content’s owners partnerships,
• A secured network for on demand digital print services,
