CONSPIRACY THEORIES

,When the astronauts are putting up the America flag it waves. There is no wind on the Moon.

No stars are visible in the picture taken by theApollo astronauts from the surface of the Moon.

No blast crater is visible in the picture taken of the lunar landing module

When the landing module takes off from the Moon’s surface there is no visible flame from the rocket.

The astronauts could not have survived the trip because of exposure to radiation from the Van Allen radiation belt.

The landing module weighs 17 tons and yet sits on top of the sand making no impression. Next to it astronauts’s footprints can be seen in the sand.

The footprints in the fine lunar dust, with no moisture or atmosphere or strong gravity, are unexpectedly well preserved, as if made in wet sand.

All 6 Moon landings happened during the Nixon adminsistration. No other national leader has clamied to have landed astronauts on the Moon, desptie 40 years of rapid technological development.

Cold War prestige. United States was in a race to beat Soviet Union to the Moon.

The Vietnam War.

Washington was keen to focus public attention away from the protests.

Technology was too primitive for a manned Moon landing that time.

Having raised a EUR40 billion budget, NASA had to be seen to be using it.

With the world watching, failure just was not an option.

more than400,000

people worked on the Apollo project for nearly 10 years, and a dozen men who walked on the Moon returned to Earth to recount their experiences. The government could not have silenced everyone if the landing were faked.

As a child growing up in Malaysia, I read about Neil Armstrong and the moon landing event from the textbook. I was so amazed and he was my role model. I never doubted that the event was genuine. When I started to research about this event more in depth, I felt that it could be fake, due to several reasons put forward by people all over the world.

However, when I read more about it, I felt that, this event would have been real. How could 400,000 people working for Apollo mission be silenced? No matter what, it has brought development for human in communication devices nowadays
