MCTSSA Cloud

• Developing Data Center Hosting Strategies to Facilitate Mission Requirements– Analyze alternative implementation cloud computing strategies – Develop cloud-based application strategies, for Government approval, – Develop system migration strategies to transition existing web-based applications to a cloud based infrastructure, which includes performing a business case

analysis, developing expected return on investment, and determining gaps in policy or governance – Provide both a high level and tactical roadmap for migration to the cloud – Transition Strategy. The transition strategy provides recommendations (Rehost, Refactor, Rebuild, and Revisit) for each of the applications assessed in the

application portfolio analysis.

• Implementing Data Center Hosting Infrastructure– Design the components of systems to conform to cloud concepts including automated provisioning, software as a service (SaaS), and infrastructure as a servi

(IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), loose coupling, and distributed scaling. Assess and implement necessary cloud security controls required to implement thconcepts to include user access controls
