Web pages are accessed and transported with theHypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), which may
optionally employ encryption (HTTP Secure,HTTPS) to provide security and privacy for theuser of the web page content. The user'sapplication, often a web browser, renders thepage content according to its HTML markupinstructions onto a display terminal.
The pages of a website can usually be accessedfrom a simple Uniform Resource Locator (URL)called thehomepage. The URLs of the pages

based and Internet-enabled devices of various sizes, including desktop computers, laptops, PDAs and cellphones.
A website ishostedon a computer system known as awebserver, also called an HTTP server, and these terms can alsorefer to the software that runs on these systems and thatretrieves and delivers the web pages in response to requestsfrom the website users.Apacheis the most commonly usedweb server software.
Static website:
A static website is one that has web pages stored on theserver in the format that is sent to a client web browser. It isprimarily coded in Hypertext Markup Language, HTML.
Simple forms or marketing examples of websites, such asclassic website, a five-page website or a brochure websiteare often static websites, because they present pre-defined,static information to the user. This may include informationabout a company and its products and services via text, photos, animations, audio/video and interactive menus andnavigation.
Dynamic website:A dynamic website is one that changes or customizes itselffrequently and automatically, based on certain criteria.

Dynamic websites can have two types of dynamic activity:Code and Content. Dynamic code is invisible or behind thescenes and dynamic content is visible or fully displayed.
Dynamic code
The code is constructed dynamically on the fly using activeprogramming language instead of plain, static HTML.
A website with dynamic code refers to its construction orhow it is built, and more specifically refers to the code used
to create a single web page. A dynamic web page isgenerated on the fly by piecing together certain blocks ofcode, procedures or routines. A dynamically-generated webpage would recall various bits of information from adatabase and put them together in a pre-defined format topresent the reader with a coherent page. It interacts withusers in a variety of ways including by reading cookies
recognizing users' previous history, session variables, serverside variables etc., or by using direct interaction (formelements, mouse overs, etc.). A site can display the currentstate of a dialogue between users, monitor a changingsituation, or provide information in some way personalizedto the requirements of the individual user.
Dynamic content
The second type is a website with dynamic contentdisplayed in plain view. Variable content is displayeddynamically on the fly based on certain criteria, usually byretrieving content stored in a database.

A website with dynamic content refers to how its messages, text, images and other information are displayed on the webpage, and more specifically how its content changes at anygiven moment. The web page content varies based oncertain criteria, either pre-defined rules or variable userinput. For example, a website with a database of newsarticles can use a pre-defined rule which tells it to display allnews articles for today's date. This type of dynamic websitewill automatically show the most current news articles on
any given date.
Purpose of dynamic websites
The main purpose of a dynamic website is automation. Adynamic website can operate more effectively, be built moreefficiently and is easier to maintain, update and expand. It ismuch simpler to build a template and a database than tobuild hundreds or thousands of individual, static HTML web
pages.

PAYROLL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ?
In acompany, payroll is the sum of allfinancialrecords of
salariesfor an employee, wages, bonuses anddeductions. In
accounting, payroll refers to the amount paid to employees
for services they provided during a certain period of time.
Payroll plays a major role in a company for several reasons.
From an accounting point of view, payroll is crucial because
payroll and payroll taxes considerably affect the net income
of most companies and they are subject to laws and
regulations (e.g. in the US payroll is subject to federal and
state regulations). From an ethics in business viewpoint
payroll is a critical department as employees are responsive
to payroll errors and irregularities: good employee moralerequires payroll to be paid timely and accurately. The
primary mission of the payroll department is to ensure that
all employees are paid accurately and timely with the correct
withholdings and deductions, and to ensure the withholdings
and deductions are remitted in a timely manner. This
includes salary payments, tax withholdings, and deductions
from apaycheck.

SURVELLIANCE SYSTEM ?
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is the use ofvideocamerasto transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limitedset of monitors.
It differs frombroadcast televisionin that the signal is notopenly transmitted, though it may employ point to point(P2P), point to multipoint, or mesh wireless links. Thoughalmost all video cameras fit this definition, the term is mostoften applied to those used forsurveillance in areas that mayneed monitoring such as banks, casinos, airports, militaryinstallations, and convenience stores.Videotelephony is
seldom called "CCTV" but the use of video indistanceeducation, where it is an important tool, is often so called
In industrial plants, CCTV equipment may be used toobserve parts of a process from a central control room, forexample when the environment is not suitable for humans.CCTV systems may operate continuously or only asrequired to monitor a particular event. A more advanced
form of CCTV, utilizingDigital Video Recorders(DVRs),provides recording for possibly many years, with a varietyof quality and performance options and extra features (such

A CCTV placed at a working place.
Technological developmentsTodays High-definition CCTV cameras have manycomputer controlled technologies that allow them toidentify, track, and categorize objects in their field of view.
Video Content Analysis (VCA) is the capability ofautomatically analyzingvideoto detect and determinetemporal events not based on a singleimage.
A system using VCA can recognize changes in theenvironment and even identify and compare objects in thedatabase using size, speed, and sometimes color. Thecameras actions can be programmed based on what it is
seeing. For example; an alarm can be issued if an object
has moved in a certain area, or if a painting is missing froma wall, and if someone has spray painted the lens.
Computerized monitoring of CCTV images is underdevelopment, so that a human CCTV operator does not have

to endlessly look at all the screens, allowing an operator toobserve many more CCTV cameras. These systems do notobserve people directly. Instead, they track their behavior bylooking for particular types of body-movement behavior, orparticular types of clothing or baggage.
Retention, storage and preservation
Most CCTV systems record and store digital video andimages to a Digital Video Recorder or in the case of IP
cameras directly to a server, either on-site or offsite. The amount of data stored and the retention period of thevideo or pictures are subject to compression ratios, imagesstored per second, image size and duration of imageretention before being overwritten.
Recordings are usually kept for a preset amount of time andthen automatically archived, overwritten or deleted. The
amount of time the videos are kept allow retrieval andreview in the event a crime was committed or theinformation needs to be studied for any number of reasons.

In the last few years, Website and surveillance system
technologies has gained a lot of importance and many
innovative applications are being developed around this
technologies. Payroll System has revolutionize and
automated the businesses all over the world .
Editorial software has immense potential in every
media segment; it is not surprising what the market surveys
indicate that media enterprise will be a US$ 250billion
industry by the year 2015 in south-east asia. However, for
Surveillance system to penetrate the market on a large scale,
the cost of the hardware equipment should be very low.
Though the cost of the equipment is coming down, it is still
on the higher side for a large scale penetration.
DESIGN OF THE SYSTEM:
Web-site

read by him and then processed/sent over a network. The power of the RFID
technology comes in integrating this information with the corporate network
or even the global internet.
.S. Patent 3,713,148 of Mario Cardullo in 1973 was the first true ancestor
of modern RFID; a passive radio transponder with memory. The initial device
was passive, powered by the interrogating signal, and was demonstrated in
1971 to the New York Port Authority and other potential users and consisted
of a transponder with 16 bit memory for use as a toll device. The basic Cardullo
patent covers the use of RF, sound and light as transmission medium. The
original business plan presented to investors in 1969 showed uses in
transportation (automotive vehicle identification, automatic toll system,
electronic license plate, electronic manifest, vehicle routing, vehicle
performance monitoring), banking (electronic check book, electronic credit
card), security (personnel identification, automatic gates, surveillance) and
medical.
RFID tags come in three general varieties: passive, active, or semi-
passive (also known as battery-assisted). Passive tags require no internal
power source, thus being pure passive devices (they are only active when a
reader is nearby to power them), whereas semi-passive and active tags require
a power source, usually a small battery.
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a globally accepted technology,
which has a great success in the area of supply chain management and

particularly inventory management. Business benefit from this cost efficient
opportunity to scan and track inventories. The tracking of items with RFID
devices is applied in a variety of areas, such as retailing, healthcare and traffic
management.
Railway traffic congestions in metropolitan areas have developed to a
major problem in many countries all over the world. They have a negative
impact on the economy, the environment and the overall quality of life.
The purpose of this software is the use of RFID technology to manage
the railway traffic congestions and to reduce the negative impact on the
economy. RFID devices would give the opportunity to control the traffic in real-
time and to gather valuable information about the development and the
sources of congestions. Bottlenecks could be detected early and infrastructure
could be aligned accordingly.

The first point of success and therefore the first point of failure in any
RFID system is tag and reader communication. If the reader cannot
communicate with the tag, your RFID system will not work properly no matter
how elegant is your software and processes. Tags must be able to successfully
transmit data to the readers for the RFID solution to work properly. However,
the effectiveness of tag/reader communication is governed by RF physics. While most implementers employ trial and error by waving a tag and asking
"can you see it now", this invariably leads to poorly performing systems.
