The technology at the plant sets standards.

Purified rainwater is used in production, and up

to 40 percent of the raw materials come from

recycled material. Precision manufacturing using

robotics produces porcelain stoneware tiles of

consistently high quality and durability.

In addition to the Vetschau plant, we maintain

other manufacturing facilities in the northern

Italian comune of Sassuolo. This industrial city

is considered to be the heart of the European

ceramics and earthenware industry. Here too

there are state-of-the-art and fully-automated

manufacturing facilities. The head office of the

IRIS CERAMICA GROUP in Castellarano is only a

few kilometres away.

Unsere Anlagentechnologie setzt Maßstäbe. Für die

Produktion wird eigens aufbereitetes Regenwasser

verwendet und bis zu 40 Prozent der verarbeiteten

Rohstoffe stammen aus recyceltem Material. Durch

référence. De l’eau de pluie spécialement préparée

est utilisée pour la production et jusqu’à 40 % des

matières premières utilisées proviennent de matériaux

recyclés. Des procédés de fabrication commandés par

une robotique de précision produisent des carreaux en

grès cérame d’une qualité et d’une robustesse élevées

et constantes. Outre l’usine de Vetschau, nous gérons

d’autres sites de production dans la ville de Sassuolo

située dans le nord de l’Italie. Cette ville industrielle

est considérée comme étant le centre de l’industrie

The new showroom in Vetschau is located right

next to the modern production halls on the ground

floor of a light and airy glass building. Here you

can see the effect of the floor tiles when used

on a large scale, and at the same time, you get a

comprehensive insight into the product range.

spacious exhibition areas in the vibrant heart

of the capital are housed in the former Sarotti

chocolate factory. The venue also serves as an

and feldspar in the most resource-efficient way possible.

We hold the ISO 50001 energy management

standard certificate, through which companies

systematically and continuously optimise their

energy efficiency. An impressive photovoltaic

system has been installed on the 870-metre-

long factory roofs in Vetschau, producing a

power of 2.4 megawatts peak. This amount of

electricity can cover a significant proportion

of production needs. In addition, the factory is

equipped with a process water treatment plant

and a material recycling system. All production

waste is collected and reprocessed. 40 percent

of the raw materials used come from these

recycling processes. With modern manufacturing,

measuring and control technology, we need very

few work stages and cut down on a lot of material

and CO2 emissions. With energy recovery of

the hot air from the kilns, we have been able

to reduce our plants’ CO2 emissions by 4,000

tons per year. Various porcelain stoneware tiles

by Porcelaingres have been awarded the British

BREEAM Sustainability Certificate and the LEED

Sustainability Certificate from the US Green

Building Council. Both certificates signify high

standards for environmentally friendly, resource-

efficient and sustainable construction.

Some Porcelaingres porcelain stoneware

tiles are made from environmentally-friendly

materials and are labelled as Active Clean Air &

Antibacterial Ceramic ™. The Active 2.0 products

are characterised by their ability to bind and clean

air pollutants as well as by their antibacterial,

self-cleaning, dirt-repellent and odour-inhibiting

properties.

Wir sind mit der Energiemanagementnorm ISO 50001

zertifiziert, durch die Unternehmen ihre Energieeffizienz

systematisch und kontinuierlich optimieren. Auf den

870 Meter langen Werkdächern in Vetschau wurde

eine beeindruckende Photovoltaikanlage installiert,

die eine Leistung von 2,4 Megawatt Peak erbringt.

Mit dieser Strommenge kann ein bedeutender Teil

des Energiebedarfs der Produktion gedeckt werden.

Darüber hinaus ist das Werk mit einer Prozesswasser-

Aufbereitungsanlage und einem Werkstoff-

Recyclingsystem ausgestattet. Alle Produktionsabfälle

werden aufgefangen und wiederaufbereitet. 40

Prozent der verarbeiteten Rohmaterialien stammen

aus diesen Recyclingprozessen. Durch moderne

Fertigungs-, Mess- und Regeltechnik benötigen wir

nur sehr wenige Arbeitsschritte und sparen enorm viel

Material und CO2-Emissionen ein. Mittels energetischer

Verwertung der Heißluft aus den Brennöfen

konnten wir den CO2-Ausstoß unserer Anlagen

um 4.000 Tonnen pro Jahr senken. Verschiedene

Feinsteinzeugfliesen von Porcelaingres erhielten das

britische Nachhaltigkeitszertifikat BREEAM und das

LEED Nachhaltigkeitszertifikat des U.S. Green Building

Council. Beide Zertifikate definieren hohe Standards

für umweltfreundliches, ressourcenschonendes und

nachhaltiges Bauen.

Einige Porcelaingres Feinsteinzeugfliesen bestehen aus

gestione dell’energia, con il quale le aziende ottimizzano

sistematicamente e costantemente la loro efficienza

energetica. Sul tetto dello stabilimento di Vetschau,

lungo 870 metri, è stato installato un imponente impianto

fotovoltaico che produce un picco di potenza di 2,4

di riciclaggio dei materiali. Tutti gli scarti di produzione

vengono raccolti e rielaborati. Il 40 percento delle

materie prime trasformate proviene da questi processi

di riciclaggio. Con la moderna tecnologia di produzione,

misurazione e controllo, abbiamo solo bisogno di

pochissime operazioni per risparmiare materiale in modo

considerevole e ridurre le emissioni di CO2. Sfruttando

l’aria calda proveniente dai forni per creare energia,

siamo stati in grado di ridurre le emissioni di CO2 dei

nostri impianti di 4.000 tonnellate all’anno. Varie lastre

in gres porcellanato di Porcelaingres hanno ricevuto la

certificazione britannica BREEAM e la certificazione LEED

dal Green Building Council degli Stati Uniti. Entrambi i

certificati definiscono standard elevati per costruzioni

che siano rispettose dell’ambiente, efficienti sotto il

profilo delle risorse e ecosostenibili.

Alcune lastre in gres porcellanato di Porcelaingres sono

realizzate con materiali ecocompatibili etichettati Active

Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic ™. I prodotti Active

2.0 attirano e decompongono gli agenti atmosferici

inquinanti e hanno un effetto antibatterico, autopulente,

repellente allo sporco e anti-odore.

Nous sommes certifiés selon la norme de système de

management de l’énergie ISO 50001, grâce à laquelle

les entreprises optimisent leur efficacité énergétique

de manière systématique et durable. Les toits de

l’usine de Vetschau mesurant 870 mètres de long

ont été équipés d’une impressionnante installation

photovoltaïque capable de générer une puissance

de 2,4 mégawatts-crête. Cette quantité d’électricité

permet de couvrir une part importante des besoins

énergétiques de la production. De plus, l’usine est

équipée d’une station de traitement des eaux usées

et d’un système de recyclage des matériaux. Tous les

déchets de production sont collectés et recyclés. 40 %

des matières premières transformées proviennent de

ces processus de recyclage. Grâce aux technologies

modernes de fabrication, de mesure et de contrôle, très

peu d’étapes de travail sont nécessaires, ce qui nous

permet d’économiser énormément de matériaux et de

réduire considérablement les émissions de CO2. Grâce

à la valorisation énergétique de l’air chaud provenant

des fours, nous avons pu réduire les émissions de CO2

de nos installations de 4 000 tonnes par an. Plusieurs

carreaux en grès cérame de Porcelaingres ont reçu le

certificat britannique de durabilité BREEAM et le certificat

de durabilité LEED de l’U.S. Green Building Council. Ces

deux certificats définissent des normes élevées pour une

construction respectueuse de l’environnement, économe

en ressources et durable.

Certains carreaux en grès cérame Porcelaingres sont

fabriqués à partir de matériaux éco-actifs estampillés

Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™. Les produits

Estamos certificados con la norma de gestión energética

ISO 50001, a través de la cual las empresas optimizan

de forma sistemática y continua su eficiencia energética.

En los tejados de la fábrica de Vetschau, de 870 metros

de longitud, se ha instalado un impresionante sistema

fotovoltaico con una potencia de 2,4 megavatios pico.

Con esta cantidad de electricidad se puede cubrir

una parte significativa de la demanda energética de

la producción. Además, la planta está equipada con

una planta de tratamiento de aguas de proceso y un

sistema de reciclaje de materiales. Todos los residuos

de producción son recogidos y reciclados. El 40 por

ciento de las materias primas procesadas provienen

de estos procesos de reciclaje. Gracias a la moderna

tecnología de producción, medición y control, solo

necesitamos muy pocos pasos de trabajo y ahorramos

una enorme cantidad de material y emisiones de CO2.

Al utilizar el aire caliente de los hornos para generar

energía, hemos podido reducir las emisiones de CO2

de nuestras plantas en 4.000 toneladas al año. Varios

de los azulejos y baldosas de gres porcelánico de

Porcelaingres han sido galardonados con el certificado
