Missions – Choo Yew On & Chern Chern Pray: Yew On – that the Lord will go

before him and two others in their mission to one of the villages in Cambodia (16 - 22 October 2017) and when he attends a meeting on Crisis Management (23 October 2017).

Yew On and Chern Chern – that the Holy Spirit will anoint them when they share on missions with one of DUMC’s cell groups on 27 October 2017. Pray that members of the cell will be encouraged and challenged to be involved in mission.

Hindus Celebrating Deepavali Hindus will be celebrating Diwali or Deepavali (Festival of Lights) on 18 October 2017. While a billion people seek spiritual freedom in thousands of gods, the one true God lovingly provides the only way through Jesus. Pray for the Hindus: For the Holy Spirit to move

among them. For their encounter with the

reality and present power of God. For Hindus in all sections of

society to come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

50th Anniversary of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) – Cambodia We ask for God’s Holy Spirit to come in full power, bringing conviction of sin, renewal, restoration and healing to Cambodia in this year of preparation of the region for a mighty sowing. Pray: Peace and reconciliation to take

root after the years of hate and trauma that still stigmatise this young nation. Pray that God will bring healing in a miraculous way.

God will raise up just and righteous leaders in government, committed to bringing prosperity, good governance, accountability, and peace to the country.
