Wisconsin law provides adults with civil immunity for guests they provide with alcohol,
but there’s no immunity when alcohol is served to an underage drinker.
It’s not worth it
Being a cool parent could cost you…
Your house, car, boat and your retirement savings
Purchase, provide or pour alcohol for underage drinkers and the people they injure can sue you. And since your homeowners insurance doesn’t cover illegal activity – the risk all falls on you!

Welcome Badger Fans to the 2014-2015 spring season of Badger Athletics!
A special thanks to all of the area businesses that have been outstanding in their support by donating to make this publication possible as well as their continued support of Badger Athletics throughout the year. We also appreciate those who once
again this year gave so much to make our Badger High School Booster Club Golf Outing a great success. You will find those donors listed on the Golf Outing page.
We are truly blessed to have the tremendous support we do for our programs which allows us to give our student athletes the best equipment and facilities possible. Thanks!
Along with the great support financially, we appreciate the great support at our contests and events by those who attend. How we conduct ourselves, what we say and the positive support we give our athletes are just as important as having great facilities. The class of a school and community is not based on the facilities we have; it is based on us and our sportsmanship, our friendliness and the respect that we show all involved. It will always be our goal to show our best at all times, being humble in our victories and showing dignity in defeat. Good life lessons. As we continue to work hard to improve our school and athletic teams, we appreciate all of your efforts in making Badger athletes feel supported. Please know it is always our hope to give our student athletes the best people to help them represent Badger. The success of our student athletes is dependent on hard work, loyal parents and a community that helps them do their best.
We are proud of our student-athletes on and off the field, court, mat, track and pool. Thanks for all you do!
SCHOOL SONG
Oh, yes we’ll fight, fight, fight, for Badger High;
Oh, yes we’ll fight, fight, fight for her.
Yes we’ll fight, fight, fight for the red & white;
We will fight with all our might!
We’ll back the team in every way;
And Badger High will win the fray.
Team do your best—we’ll do the rest,
And we will march to victory.
Oh let those Badger High kids set the pace,
We’ll win this game without a race,
And for the Red and White we’ll give a cheer,
That can be heard the world around by every ear.
And then we’ll fight, fight, fight for victory,
And guard our score by making more,
We’ll have some fun when we have won
A VICTORY FOR BADGER HIGH !

It is not just that you put on a uniform, or show up every day at practice or the games…
You are an athlete all the time, on and off the field.
You represent
your family, your community, your school , your teammates, your coach and yourself.
Life of an Athlete is an organization of student athletes gathering to promote positive choices and behaviors among students. All student athletes are invited to apply for involvement.
Life of an Athlete students play a vital role in the student climate. The expectation is that student athletes will be working on improving aspects of student life. To be a member of the Life of an Athlete, students must be dedicated and willing to sacrifice time for the future of school, teams, and community. Student athletes must want to become a better leader and follower.
Application forms are available in the Athletic Office or in Room 710. Advisors are Mr. Hensler, Mrs. Soley-Johnson & Mr. Kluge.
“If you live the life of an athlete, there is no finish line…
You will use what you have learned as an athlete, for the rest of your life.
You will care about your mind, your body and your health.
You will be focused and motivated and dedicated in all that you do.
There is no finish line… Just time.”

“Most of us start out playing a sport as a means of fun and recreation.
But somewhere along the way, in the midst of all the fun,
we realize that sports can often be a metaphor for achieving success in life, because of the lessons it teaches us about life.”

Wisconsin law provides adults with civil immunity for guests they provide with alcohol,
but there’s no immunity when alcohol is served to an underage drinker.
It’s not worth it
Being a cool parent could cost you…
Your house, car, boat and your retirement savings
Purchase, provide or pour alcohol for underage drinkers and the people they in-jure can sue you. And since your homeowners insurance doesn’t cover illegal activity – the risk all falls on you!
