Welcome to the first day of your tour of Great Britain! The English countryside is calling as we leave the hustle and bustle of London.

It’s time to head into the Scottish Highlands! We make our first stop at Hadrian’s Wall - a defensive fortification for what was then

Roman Britannia and built by the Roman Empire while Emperor Hadrian was ruling. Next, wonder through the charming border town

of Jedburgh. Arrive at our hotel in the Scottish Highlands in the evening where you can fill up on a delicious dinner which will be

included tonight.

DAY 3: Glen Coe - Loch Ness - New Year's Eve in Edinburgh

Keep an eye out for Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest peak, as we travel to Glencoe today. Find out more about this spectacular valley which

played host to a tragic massacre which happened hundreds of years ago. We make a photo stop in Loch Ness en route to Edinburgh.

Say yes to the optional cruise and see if you can spot ‘Nessie’ the mythical Loch Ness Monster! Arrive in Edinburgh and check into the

hotel. Next we embark on a driving tour of this beautiful city. Take note of the places you want to visit on your free day tomorrow!

Tonight its time to get festive as we celebrate Hogmanay (the Scots word for the last day of the year) and ring in the New Year!

DAY 4: Edinburgh: Free Day

Spend the first day of the New Year exploring the delights of Edinburgh on this free day! See Old Town and New Town, wander down

the cobbled streets of the Royal Mile and explore the Grass Market. Admire the stunning art galleries, statues and memorials as well

as the impressive gothic architecture! Visit Edinburgh Castle which is perched above the city and spend a few hours exploring the

halls learning about Scottish royal history - definitely worth the entry fee! Anyone looking to shop til they drop should head to well-

known Princes Street. This evening, do things the Scottish wat and enjoy a pint or dram of whisky with the locals. You can also explore

the city at night on a guided ghost tour - see secret underground passages and local graveyards!

DAY 5: Lake District - Liverpool

We cross the border back into England today as we head to Liverpool. En route, we make a comfort stop in the beautiful town of Greta

Green before enjoying lunch in the picturesque Lake District where you can soak up the stunning views. Arrive in Liverpool in the late

afternoon and check into the hotel. This city is famous for being the home of The Beatles and two world-famous football clubs! This

evening, Liverpool is yours to explore. Head out to one of the city’s pubs to get a feel of local life. You can even pay a visit to the

Cavern Club - a spot where The Beatles played hundreds of shows!

Comfort stop at World Famous Gretna Green: Found on the Scottish side of the border between England and Scotland - this is where

lovers used to get married without their parent’s permission.

Embark on a driving tour of Liverpool this morning. Next we travel to Stratford-upon-Avon - the birthplace of William Shakespeare,

one of the world’s most famous playwrights. Learn more about this historic village on an orientation tour before using some free time

to explore on your own. Afterwards, we make our way to Wales! We have a brief photo stop at a medieval castle on the way. Then we

head onwards to the Welsh capital of Cardiff which is our overnight stop. Orientate yourself with the city on a driving tour before we

check into our hotel for the night.

We have reached the last day of our tour of Great Britain and its a day filled with excitement! Our first stop is Bath. This historic city is

a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to sights such as the Roman Baths as well as some of the finest architecture in Europe!

Learn about the town on an orientation tour before we travel to our next stop: Stonehenge. This mysterious landmark is shrouded in

myth and legend. Explore it on the optional Stonehenge excursion. Arrive back in London in the early. After a week of exploring

amazing destinations across Great Britain, we have reached the end of an amazing tour!
