In the File Name box, type in Period Full Name and Internet Example: 4 Anne Page Internet 8. Go to Google and type Maps in the search bar. 9. Click on Google Maps. 10. Type in Gum Wall Post Alley, Seattle, WA. 11. Click on the Street View picture under the search bar. 12. On your Tool Bar at the bottom of your screen, click on your word document. 13. In your word document, click on the Insert tab. 14. In the Illustrations grouping, click on Screenshots and select Screen Clipping from the drop down menu. This will take you back to the gum wall page and fade it out. 15. Use the crosshairs to create a box around the gum wall on the page. It will automatically pop up in your document. 16. While the image is selected, click on Picture Tools tab and change the Height on the right side of the ribbon to 2.5 inches. 17. Press the End key on your keyboard and then press Enter 18. You are now ready to search for your next picture in Google 19. In Google Maps, search for your address. 20. Paste a 2.5 inch high picture of your house under the picture of the gum wall. If you cannot get a street view picture, use a satellite view picture.

Email an Attachment

1. Logging into Davis District E-mail Open Internet Explorer Click on my.DSD

2. Log in to My DSD Enter your Login in the Username Box Enter your PIN in the Password Box

These are the same things you use to log onto the computer.

3. This will take you to your grades. In the grades window, click on your email address in the top left corner of the screen.

4. Type in your email address and password.Email: [21jdoe]@go.dsdmail.netPassword: PIN number

5. Click on Mail under Collaborate with Office Online

6. Click on “New” in the top left corner

7. In the To box, enter Mrs. Page’s e-mail [email protected]

8. In the Subject box type in the number for your class period followed by the wordsInternet AttachmentEXAMPLE: 1 internet attachment

9. Click on Attach (it looks like a paper clip at the top of the message window.)

10.Click on Computer on the left side. 11.Select your H: drive in the left window12.Find the Internet document you created at

the beginning of this assignment and click Open. (Yours will be named Period Name Internet)

13.Click on Send as Copy14.Make sure the name of the document (Period

Name Internet.docx) is just below the Subject Box.

15. Click Send
