Network Engineer, (Apr. 2013 – Nov. 2014) I handled the design and operations of a mid-sized ISP’s wide-area network. This included both the

internal infrastructure upgrade of the company, spanning multiple switching and routing platforms, to building network solutions to end user business locations. My day to day operations included monitoring and updating our network monitoring software, keeping the IPAM system up to date and auditing the network regularly to make sure it was providing the best network capabilities to our customers. The network included switching platforms such as Juniper, Cisco and many other wireless platforms such as Ubiquity. I also made sure proper QoS settings were in place for VoIP and other protocols. I also coordinated with vendors for network upgrades or troubleshooting when it applied.

I handled networking and technical networking solutions for a large-scale Enterprise Network with over 3000 users, multiple departments and organizations providing connectivity to various sites. I was included in and led projects concerning the general expansion to new locations and the maintenance of the current network.
