Registration Information

FULL PAYMENT is required at time of registration.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, check or money order payable to: City of Los Angeles.

If paying by cash please bring Exact Amount. We do not have change.

Monthly/weekly fees are due by the last Wednesday of previous session.

Classes are subject to time and day changes.

Administration may cancel or combine activities if minimum registration is not met.

NO REFUNDS unless the class/activity is cancelled and will be subject to a 15% administrative fee.

Sports programs require a copy of the child’s birth certificate at time of registration.

We are closed on Holidays.

Personal insurance is needed. The City of L.A. does not provide insurance.

Piano (Private Classes) Half-hour lesson focuses on sight-reading, repertoire for beginner, rhythmic notation, two-handed note reading with both clefs, and interpretation. (Walk-in Registration ONLY)

B-ball Workout Work out, learn and develop your basketball skills with Coach Hector.

Ages: 9 - 12 Day: Monday Time: 7:30 - 8:30pm Fee: $60 / 10 weeks

Soccer Skills Work out, learn and develop your soccer skills with Coach Hector.

Ages: 3-5 Day: Monday Time: 5:00 - 5:45pm Fee: $60 / 10 weeks

Ages: 7-11 Day: Thursday Time: 5:00 - 6:00pm Fee: $60 / 10 weeks

Capoeira A full body workout that also provides cultural and social enrichment. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that pairs dynamic physical movement with traditional Afro-Brazilian rhythms and songs.

Ages: 12 & up Day: Tuesday & Thursday Time: 6:00 - 7:30pm Fee: $15 / 10 weeks

Tennis Focus is on fundamentals (stance, grip, body position, stroke mechanics, etc.), position play and strategy.

Homework Help

Stumped? Have questions about your homework? Need help in a certain subject. Come by the Senior Center and our staff will help clear things up for you.

Ages: 11 - 17 Day: Tuesday thru Thursday Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm Fee: Free / 10 weeks

Volleyball

Skill development is emphasized on serving, serve receiving, forearm passing, attacking, team defense, blocking, team reception, attach coverage and team transition.

Ages: 11 - 17 Day: Tuesday Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm Fee: Free / 10 weeks

Driver Safety for Teens

An introductory course in to the rules of the road and requirements for obtaining a CA Drivers License. This class does not count toward Drivers Education. There will be no driving involved.

Ages: 15 - 17 Day: Tuesday Time: 6:45pm - 7:45pm Fee: Free / 10 weeks

T-Shirt Cutting

Don’t throw out your old t-shirts. Give new life to them in our class. Our instruction will guide you and show you how to cut your old shirts into fashionable new styles.
