Standalone access points can be managed directly using CLI or web interface.

The express setup and express security can be used to provide a simple configuration.

The Cisco IOS-to-LWAPP conversion utility can be used to convert a standalone AP to LWAPP mode.

This process can also be run from the Cisco WCS, if the AP was added while in standalone mode.
