Japan’s government is a “constitutional monarchy”
There is a Japanese emperor but his power is very limited.
Power is held mainly by the prime minister of Japan The prime minister is elected by the emperor after
being nominated by the house of representatives
The government consists of a house of representatives containing 480 seats. Much like the US.
