TIPS TO USE A JABRA HEADSET

Jabra is an award winning company that specializes in making wireless headsets and speakerphones. If you are a gadget enthusiast who cannot live without music, chances are high that you either have a Jabra headset or want to get one. There certainly are a lot of devices to choose from but the basic functioning of a Jabra headset is something that is common across most devices. Here are a few tips to ensure that you don’t get lost in the world of Jabra:

1. The first thing to do once you get a new Jabra headset is to charge it fully. While charging, the indicator light on the headset will be red. Once fully charged, which takes around two hours, the light will be off.

2. The next tip is regarding connecting your phone to the headset via Bluetooth. Obviously, you need to switch on your phone’s Bluetooth first. Then what you need to do is press and hold the power button on the headset for five seconds till the time the indicator light isn’t flashing. Once it starts flashing, you need to search for the Jabra device on your phone’s Bluetooth. Two things need to be ensured here. First is that the phone and the headset are within a few feet of each other. Second is that if you are asked for a pass key, type 0000.

3. The third tip is regarding the position of the headset. Now this may sound like a no-brainer but very often when we don’t follow this, the person on the other side of the phone clearly understands that we are using a hands-free device. The headset should be positioned in such a way that the microphone is pointing towards the mouth.
