Final remarks
1. Polish Nuclear Physics provides a matching share of worldwide research in this domain of physics.
2. Nuclear* Theory activity in POLAND is 30% of the total with very strong links to experiment.
3. Junior staff is 50% of the total.4. Focused and well targeted studies with highlights
in most important present-day directions of research in nuclear physics.
5. Strong groups created, e.g. Zdzisław Szymański’s in nuclear structure.
6. Strong contributions to foreign research centers (Nazarewicz, Dudek, Danielewicz, Płoszajczak...)
7. Strong contribution to PAC’s, white papers, bluebooks, proposals, experimental projects, Editorial Boards, ECT*, INT,…
8. Cross-national-boundaries PhD’s (Olbratowki, Borycki, Dobrowolski, Sieja…)
9. Financially challenged.
