INTERCONTINENTAL RESORT HOTEL, SANYA

The Concept started with the idea of a nautical explorer who found his home in Sanya. Based upon his exploratory escapades halfway across the globe, the hotel is to be the contemporary experiential abode for his

odysseys and his undiscovered treasure trove.

Guestrooms: We sought to recreate his spatial

memories and to bring stories of his journeys alive in

different ways visually. The experience will continue as

one enters from the public area into the corridors and

then reaching the cocoons of the guestroom spaces. A

journey the depicted by 2 distinct storylines:

1 Nautical architecture and Marine vessels 2 Natural sea life/ forms • of corals, curiosities and colors, • of fishes, fossils and flights, • aqua-scape in an interplay on micro and the

macro scales.

PRIVATE HERITAGEHOTEL LOBBY, SHANGHAI

Enclosed with a strong classic transitional interior, the design was conceptualised with an idea of Modern Chinoserie.

To respect the exterior and interior for harmonious

look, each stroke of lines and curves are redrawn and

modernised to suit the new generation of time and

reworked design.

A office lobby for reminiscing the beauty of old shanghai

with a contemporary twist. The palette of greys and

whites with a punch of vibrant purple creating a timeless

ambience.
