Park Rules
JACKSON HOLE: Jackson Hole offers some unique family entertainment in its daily Shoot Out in the Square (Memorial Day to Labor Day at 6 pm, except on Sundays). There are theaters, museums and art galleries galore, as well as a Rodeo (Wednesday and Saturday nights at 8 pm, Memorial Day to Labor Day).WHITEWATER RAFTING: We have our own whitewater rafting company right here on the campground. You can’t beat the convenience and price! Every whitewater company in the valley is licensed by the U.S. Forest Service and does the exact same stretch of river — West Table to Sheep Gulch (8 miles). The only difference is in the experience and safety of the guides, price and convenience. We have all three! Book with the front desk of the campground.GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK: Wyoming’s smaller, but no less popular, national park lies just north of Jackson (½ hour from the campground). Known worldwide for its breathtaking beauty, the Teton Range is best discovered on horseback or on foot along backpacking trails. The mountain peaks, lacking foothills, ascend to the 13,772-foot summit of the Grand Teton, towering a mile and a half above the valley floor. The majestic mountain vistas, along with the widely varying scope of outdoor recreation in the rest of Jackson Hole, provide an unsurpassed vacation paradise.

VISIT THE NATION’S FIRST NATIONAL PARK: YELLOWSTONE! We are 65 miles from the south entrance. More than three million people from around the world visit Yellowstone National Park each year. The U.S. Congress in 1872 created Yellowstone, the world’s first national park, preserving the region’s unique geothermal features and wildlife habitats for generations to come. Today’s visitors still discover the same pristine waterways and isolated valleys and the greatest concentration of geysers and hot springs in the world. Old Faithful still faithfully spurts, evidence of continued underground activity.
Elk, bison, bears, eagles and wolves make their homes among the millions of acres within the Park, which encompasses one of the highest waterfalls in North America and some of the world’s best known trout fishing streams!
The 166-mile GRAND LOOP ROAD passes the Park’s most popular sites and connects with both the south entrance road (easily reached from Jackson) and the west entrance road. Call Yellowstone at 304-344-7381 for more information.
