Our Leadership Team’s progress in fully implementing Indicators and meeting Objectives:

As a result of interventions, staff dedication, and adopted programs the comparison of success at the end of 2016, 55% of educators had a growth index score of greater than 1. At the end of 2017, 58% of educators had a growth index score of greater than 1. Only 13%, had a growth index score of less than -1. In 2016 and 17, JCMS had growth index scores of 3.86 and 4.29 which exceed growth expectations. JCMS met growth for the 17-18 school year. Programs in which our school still uses for veteran staff as well as new staff are AVID Summer Institute training to maintain school accreditation, as well as in house AVID teacher led training during Early Release Professional Development. Veteran staff as well as new are trained in Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) as Jacksonville Commons is a green ribbon school within the county. Select staff continue with Literacy Design Collaboration (LDC) and Math Design Collaboration (MDC). All staff members keep current with technology updates in Office 365 with the continual training of the onsite technology facilitator. Staff members meet regularly for Data Teams training as well as across grade level meetings (Cross Curricular). Monthly, the Building Leadership Team (Senate) shares the monthly school report from Administration as well from all grade chairs in attendance to ensure all programs are implemented with fidelity and given progress reports. Jacksonville Commons Middle School continues to strive to meet and provide new staff training and feedback on performing at the optimum level in the classroom providing them the tools and resources to do so with assigned mentors and monthly administrative meetings.
