Guided a watch team consisting of seven personnel in operating reactor-powered equipment during an eight-month deployment period.

Successfully passed four vital reactor inspections consisting of reactor equipment safety drills and level of knowledge exams, resulting in no major deficiencies.

Completed a major inspection of Number One Main Engine and reduction gear lube oil sump, including piping, to determine the source of metal debris. Prevented costly repair of equipment.
