Challenge

• So you’ve just escaped from the prison cell’s, and the guards have sounded the alarm!

• You have exactly 36 hours to escape as far away from Bristol as physically possible to lessen your risk of being caught!

• You and your team mates need to plan the best route of escape...

Tips

• Pick your end destination (go on be ambitious)

• Now plan your route.

• Call train stations, airports, coach companies, the docks, taxi companies, ANYONE! Who will help you escape quick enough.

A Couple of Basics :

• Over 18• Registered UWE student• Pay the registration fee• Raise at least £50• Team of 2-3 people (including 1 male)• Have a valid passport, EHIC or equivalent

health insurance and a credit/debit card that functions abroad

• Money raised goes to RAG & Practical Action

Practical Action & RAG

• Practical Action uses technology to challenge poverty in developing countries.

• They find out what people are doing and help them to do it better. Through technology they enable poor communities to build on their skills and knowledge to produce sustainable and practical solutions - transforming their lives forever and protecting the world around them.

• By doing this each year they help around a million people break out of the cycle of poverty ... for good.

•Bristol and South Gloucester People First work with adults with learning difficulties to promote their human rights, help them make choices and be in control of their lives and live independently. They run befriending, women’s groups etc.•County Air Ambulance Trust offer financial support to air ambulances in the region. Their target is to raise £10million in the next 10 years•Vassall Centre Trust provide a Centre in Fishponds and employment and voluntary opportunities for disabled people•Jessie May Trust provide vital nursing care for children with terminal illnesses
