OBITUARY James L. Barfield was born on April 22, 1983 in Louisville, Mississippi to the late Ira

and Scottie Barfield. He later married Mary Alice Jenkins and to this union six children

were born. He severed at Popular Springs Baptist church as chairman. Mr. Barfield

was employed at Nicholls Logging Incorporation for more than 33 years. He later met

and married Shcenesia Ann James of Wray, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alice Jenkins, four children: James Lamar

Barfield Jr., Oliver Barfield, Rosalyn Barfield and Louis Barfield, two grandchildren:

Brandon Barfield and Kimberly Manley.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted wife Shcenesia Ann James, four children:

Sidney Barfield of Arizona, Glenn (Lisa) Barfield of Meridian, Mississippi, Budd Lott

of Douglas, Georgia, and Sister McDuffie of Alma, Georgia. fifteen grandchildren,

and twenty-four great-grandchildren. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins

and friends.
