Project consisted of a new 34-‐store hotel tower and a separate 600,000 SF convention space located in a densely populated, high traffic area. Hotel tower utilized post-‐tensioned slabs and made use of extremely high-‐level finishes. Responsibilities included researching and drafting RFIs, document control, reviewing submittals, recording meeting minutes, and overseeing execution of punch work.

Firm was contracted to perform an 8,000 SF expansion on an existing FedEx distribution facility. Building consisted of CMU and pre-‐engineered metal building structure. Scope of work included the addition of new dock doors & equipment, and 1,000 SF of office space. Responsibilities included writing scopes of work for subcontract agreements, managing all RFIs and submittals, coordinating with project superintendent, reviewing subcontractor billing, and weekly correspondence with owner on project progress.

38,500 SF automotive dealership including sales, service, and office/admin areas. Structure consisted of CMU walls and structural steel framing. Exterior of structure made extensive use of ACM paneling, EIFS, and storefront. Construction of new facility was performed within feet of existing dealership, necessitating regular coordination with client’s personnel to ensure dealership operations were uninterrupted.

32,000 SF automotive dealership including sales, service, and office/admin areas. Structure consisted of pre-‐engineered structural steel frame and insulated metal panels. Notable features include an automated carwash, in-‐ground vehicle lifts, and full LED interior and site lighting. Project required significant coordination with third party equipment vendors and local code officials.

Added 50 parking spaces for delivery trailers at an operational FedEx distribution facility. Scope included grading, underground utility and light pole relocation, and paving. Due to client requirements, total project duration was limited seven weeks. Responsibilities included writing scopes of work for subcontract agreements, managing all RFIs and submittals, coordinating field activities with project superintendent, reviewing subcontractor billing, weekly correspondence with owner on project progress, and preparing monthly owner payment application.

6,600 SF expansion to an existing research and analysis facility. Notable elements included a drive-‐in climate chamber designed to expose vehicles to a range of environmental conditions. In addition, the project required a specially designed seismic mass to isolate the chamber from the rest of the structure. This seismic mass necessitated extremely high fabrication tolerances. Because the facility is used for R&D activities, the building was outfitted with an array of sensors and controls that tied into the client’s campus-‐wide building management system.

13,300 SF warehouse expansion and 2,500 SF interior renovation of manufacturing facility. Expansion consisted of pre-‐engineered metal building with mezzanine level. Renovation involved selective demolition of existing office space, roof replacement, installation of new RTU, and new walls, finishes, and MEP fixtures. Scope also included a 10T remote controlled bridge crane and five (5) 2T bridge cranes in warehouse area.

Firm was contracted to replace an existing boiler and add an air compressor, chiller, four (4) rooftop cooling towers, several pumps, and all associated piping, valves, and controls to an existing energy generation facility. As operation of this facility was critical to the client's production activities, a great deal of effort was committed to coordinating with the client's personnel, the design team, and subcontractors to ensure no production time was lost due to construction. Long lead-‐time on most components necessitated detailed planning for installation and shutdown sequencing.
