I started working with Crystal Electronics part time as a customer service representative, whilststudying at the University of Northampton; I was responsible for answering the phone, booking in jobsand speaking directly with both domestic and commercial clients. During my second year I started to workfull time and was asked to take on more responsibilities, I worked on the construction and development of 6 new websites for the company, worked directly with an external IT company, to manage any IT issues. Icontinued working full time throughout my third year whilst continuing to study full time. Taking on further responsibilities, this included researching new products for the company, visiting clients as well aschecking up on engineers on site. Crystal Electronics was also the lead engineering force in the 4Grollout, preventing any potential 4G interference with TVs across the country, I was one of 4 staff withinthe company who was managing the project.
WH Smith High Street, Southend-on-Sea February 2010 – May 2010 After finishing Loughborough University I returned to my home town and spoke with my old
manager, he was more than happy to give me my old job back for a couple of months, and I worked onthe tills, speaking directly with customers, and took on some managerial tasks, managing the store onSundays.
Games Workshop, High Street, Southend-on-Sea June 2008 – January 2010Here, I worked with a wide range of customers, varying in age and maturity. In this position, I have
been trained to give the best customer service possible. I also had the responsibility of cashing up andfilling in important financial paperwork. I was on a 0 hour contract whilst at Loughborough University andreturned at Christmas to continue working in the store.
SELEX sensors and airborne systems, Basildon January 2009 – May 2009I completed a 4 months placement with SELEX working with there systems engineers in their
Basildon branch, here I worked within an office environment and gave presentations to other employeesfrom the companies other branches. I also produced professional documents, and was personallyresponsible for testing on different components that the company produced.
WH Smith, High Street, Southend-on-Sea October 2006 – May 2008In this position, I worked in all departments of the store and was also trained to operate the tills
and handle money.

Loughborough University, LeicestershireSystems Engineering course 2009 - 2010I completed 2 terms at Loughborough University on a systems engineering course, however whilst doingthe course I decided that I did not want to go into engineering, I have therefore finished my course earlyand have been now accepted onto a different course at Northampton University.

organizing the teams as well as the events.o I represented my form on the Sixth Form council, giving the students a say in the running of their

o In my spare time I play badminton in high adult leagues around Southend. I also play tennis in the
local leagues around the Leigh and Westcliff area.

Personal Statement I am an extremely healthy and very friendly person who relates well to others, I enjoy working as part of ateam but can also work independently when required.
