Par 64 Euro lantern

PAR64/56/46James Thomas Engineering pioneered the spun aluminium Par lantern. Today it is widely regarded as the industry standard Par fixture. It is manufactured from thick gauge aluminium for maximum durability and with high quality components, all of which contribute to the longevity of the product. A full range of accessories are available. Black and silver are standard, but other colours are available to order when you specify a RAL colour number. There are many variations available.

Par 36 lanterns are supplied with a wiring set, integral wire mesh, cable grip gland, lamp retaining ring and colour frame retainers (gel clips). Standard finishes are semi matt black or silver-black interior, other finishes will be priced on application in which case a RAL colour number is required for identification. The lanterns conform to the low voltage directive and are CE marked. Par lanterns can be supplied, fitted with several types of lamps at competitive prices.

Par 38 lanterns are manufactured using the E27 or medium base lampholder for mains voltage lamps up to 150 watts. The Par 38 is fitted with a colour frame as standard. Each lantern type is wired with a 1 metre tail of silicone 3 core cable. These lanterns conform to the low voltage directive and are CE marked.

The Par 16 lantern is a scaled down version of the Par 64 lantern, suitable for use with MR 16 range of 12 volt lamps and the GU10 range of 230V lamps. Colour frame is supplied as standard. Par 16 with transformer is supplied with a transformer mounted in a housing fitted to yoke of lantern. All the lanterns conform to EN 60598-2-1 and are CE marked.

Par 20 and 30 lanterns are manufactured using the E27 or medium base lampholder for mains voltage lamps up to 150 watts. The Par 20 and 30 lanterns are fitted with a colour frame. Each lantern type is wired with a 1 metre tail of silicone 3 core cable. These lanterns conform to the low voltage directive and are CE marked.

PAR OUTDOOR64James Thomas Engineering has developed an outdoor Par lantern to IP65 rating for use with Par 64 sealed beam lamps, and with an adaptor, Par 56 sealed beam lamps. The unit features corrosion resistant fittings and a cast aluminium construction, finished in black or silver exterior polyester powder coating. The unit has a unique focusing device, to allow external focusing of lamps. Positive lock off system and security gel feet, means that colour changers can be used with the standard unit without modification. A terminal box at the rear of the lantern housing allows you to wire with any heat resistant cable. If required you can fit a 168mm dichroic glass behind the front glass using the D5672 glass holder. All models conform to EN 60 598-2-17 and are CE marked.

PAR SPOT36 BANKSCommonly known as 'audience blinders', Spot Banks are available in various configurations for Par 36 lamps. Designed with ease of use in mind, they feature robust lightweight aluminium construction, semi-gloss black electrostatic paint finish, heavy duty yoke with positive lock off, using a tee bar to enable unit to be set at any desired angle. In addition, each lamp bank will pan independently to alter light effect. Lamp change itself is simplicity due to quick release knobs on lamp retaining ring which are chrome plated and are fitted with a safety mesh as standard. Certain models of the spot banks can be supplied with stand off colour frame, with 2 or 4 way barn doors incorporating colour frame, supplied at extra cost. The units can be supplied wired or unwired which must be stated when ordering.

The Par 16 Batten is designed to use MR16-12V lamps and the GU10 range of 230V lamps. Manufactured in aluminium for a robust yet lightweight construction and finished in a black electrostatic paint finish. The unit has extremely good ventilation to aid bulb life and colour frame has been kept as far away as possible to prolong gel life. Printed circuit board complete with lampholders and lamp failure neons, ensures reliable operation with minimum of maintenance. Colour frames are in pairs with quick release knobs. Bulb changes are simple with quick release catches and slide in lampholders. All these features make this unit extremely user friendly. Supplied standard with one pair of floor plates and colour frames.

1 cell 1K Cyclite

The asymmetric cyclites offer high quality units for competitive outlay. They all feature high quality electrostatic paint finish, robust yoke complete with tee bar for positive lock off. Cyclites can be used floor mounted with the body of the unit having a 30 degree angle floor mount built in or flown. Optionally, floor mounting plates are offered for adjustable angles. The units also feature adjustable lampholders behind chrome plated safety mesh. Colour gel frames are easily removable and are fitted with a safety bond to the cyc body. The cyclites all feature ventilation slots in order to prolong bulb and colour gel life.
