Hasan Mukhtar, PhD was one of the keynote speakers at the symposium “Is Cancer a Preventable Environmental Disease?” held at La Trobe University in Mt. Buller-Victoria, Australia, on December 7-10, 2000. The title of Dr. Mukhtar’s talk was “Chemoprevention of Carcinogenesis by Plant Products: Green Tea Polyphenols.”

Mahmoud A. Ghannoum, M.Sc., PhD spoke for the American Society for Microbiology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia on December 11, 2000. His topic was “Role of the Modern Mycology Laboratory in the New Millennium.”

Clinical Trials

Upcoming trials for children with atopic dermatitis, and adults with bullous pemphigoid are expected in the near future.
