The Good Shepherd Book Club will again meet after morning Mass, January 17th.

The Book is: Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Journey

in to the Afterlife by Eben Alexander

Thousands of people have had near-death experiences, but scientists have argued that they are impossible. Dr. Eben Alex-ander was one of those scientists. Then, Dr. Alexander’s own brain was attacked by a rare illness. For seven days he lay in a coma. Alexander’s recovery is a medical miracle. But the real

miracle of his story lies elsewhere.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, Mike Killeen

want to thank the members of Good Shepherd parish for their overwhelming

support of the annual Rose Sale, sup-porting Right to Life. Thank you and God bless you!

The countdown to Good Shepherd’s 40th ANNIVERSARY has begun!

To commemorate the 40 years, a foundation fact about Good Shepherd’s history will be presented each week.

Week #20 Did you know that.......... Good Shepherd Church is on a 10 acre parcel on Tranquility Road, Route 517 in Andover Borough which was donated by Mr. Finn Capersen, president of Westby Farms in 1982. From April to August of 1984, people of the parish cleared the 10 acres of cedar trees and in June the retention basin for the water drainage system was put in.
