Certification Exams Offered at Mid-Year

– NO Walk-Ins!– Only pre-approved candidates– Bring your ID!
Chapter Rebates
• All chapters with all required documentation have had their rebates processed.
• Checks were mailed Dec 23, 2009• Chapter presidents and treasurers received an e mail
and a copy of the June 30, 2009 chapter roster with the rebate calculation.– This is the same roster that chapter presidents were e
mailed back in July 2009.
• If you did not receive that e mail and think that you are due a rebate, contact [email protected] so we can track it down.

Certification Exams Offered at the 2010 Aerospace and Defense Contract Management Conference NCMA Certification Exams will be offered on Friday, March 26, 2010, at The Westin San Diego. You must have your application in and approved by Friday, March 5. Applications must be marked “ADC10.” Onsite applications will NOT be accepted. Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) and Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) Exam Prep Classes will be offered on Wednesday, March 24, at The Westin. Each session is limited to the first 30 registrants. For further information on these sessions, the exams themselves, or applicable fees, please click here.

Certification Exams at YOUR chapter!
• NCMA will offer the certification exams at your chapter!– YOUR chapter hosts, picks the test location and provides a
proctor• At least 90 days prior to the proposed exam date, Chapters send in a
REQUEST to host the exam and includes the date, location, proctor
– NO WALK INS! Only pre approved candidates may sit.• At least 45 days prior to the chapter exam date, complete application
and payment from the exam candidate must be at NCMA HQ
– National grades and the exam results provided in approximately 15 working days
– Exam fee: $50/members $90/non members– If your chapter is interested in participating in this new

Audio Seminars are Back!
NCMA’s webinars are live, 90-minute online events combining real-time presentation with phone conferencing. Speakers use prepared presentation slides that are available for viewing and download by the participants during the live session. The typical format of the program is for the speaker(s) to make a 60-minute presentation, followed by 30-minute Q&A period (both live over the phone and responding to questions sent via chat room). Participants earn 1.5 CPEs.

World Congress 2010—Call for Presentations
• Join other contract, acquisition, and procurement professionals; address the hard-hitting issues; and capture the best practices that shape smarter processes.

•Chief Acquisition Officers Council 2010 Acquisition Excellence Awards
• The Chief Acquisition Officers Council is seeking nominations for the 2010 Acquisition Excellence Awards. The awards will be presented May 5, 2010, at the General Services Administration Training Conference and Expo in Orlando, Florida. Nominations are being solicited for federal employees engaged in teams or individual activities that led to exceptional results.
