Valentines DayEcoKids Event!

Northfield Ecocentre was first opened to public in March 2009, as a result of the innovative vision of a core group oflocal volunteers, who are local Quakers. This lead to the transformation of a derelict bookshop in to the busy Ecocentrethat you can see today.

Three years on and the Ecocentre is thriving, not only because of their hard work, alongside the paid staff, but greatlydue to the contribution of time and energy of many, many volunteers who have come through our doorway since.Without our volunteers many project and events would simply not have been possible - such as planting trees aspart of our Northfield's Orchards projects, running our gardening and sewing groups, research work for our energy

advice service, marketing our services, writing fact-sheets, runningpublic events and outreach stalls, establishing the Friends of VictoriaCommon group and of course the work of our volunteerManagement Committee... and so much more.

Thank you and congratulations on all your hard work. Your skills, enthusiasm and commitment are amazing!

Could you Volunteer? If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at NorthfieldEcocentre in 2012 give us a call on 0121 448 0119 or visit our jobspage.

We are Recruiting!Data processor and Energy Advisor (PT) We’ll be recruiting for this role in the next few days. Check our website for details. Post until end March 2012.
