WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Ratios and Stang for Safety

Safety of our customers and sta is paramount atLeisure Networks. To ensure our groups have a fun & safetime with us please note that as a minimum:

At least 2 sta will always be rosteredfor any trip to Melbourne

Activities deemed high risk (including water activities) will be staed at a ratio of 1:2

Changes to Programs

Whilst the utmost care is taken to ensure thescheduled activity is available at the time andlocation advised, there may be times where slightchanges may be required to ensure maximumenjoyment out of the day. This may includecircumstances regarding weather, public transportand availability of activities. Should there be anychanges to your scheduled activity, a phone callor text will be sent at least 24 hours prior to thestart of the session.

Departing on Time

Booster Seats

If your child currently uses a booster seat when travellingin a car, please contact us on 03 5222 3911 to discuss howwe can support their safe transport when in a LeisureNetworks vehicle.

Funding

The Importance of MYKIAs we use public transport for a lot for our programs, it is vital that all participants have an active MYKIcard that is loaded to allow for transport to andfrom Melbourne (approximately $15) and aroundGeelong. No MYKI may result in you not being ableto attend the booked activity.

Booking and paying the out of pocket costs via the website registers your place on the program, however nal conrmation is completed oncewe ensure you have the sucient and appropriate NDIS funding available. A new service booking may be required to conrm your place and the LN team will work with you to arrange this.

This program is suitable for people who can besupported in a small group of between 3 and 5 people. If you require 1:1 or 1:2 support please call us to discuss. Please note, you will be charged at the appropriate rate depending on the size of the group, noting group sizemay vary between activities.

We like to oer a variety of activities for our groupsto enjoy, and this often means that we need to take public transport and/or book sessions with external organisations for specic times. Because of this, it is very important that the group are able to depart on time. If you are running late, as a courtesy we askthat you call us as soon as possible to let us know. If we have not heard from you and it is more than ten minutes past the scheduled start time, unfortunately the group will need to leave and you may miss out on attending the session.

BEFORE & AFTER HOURS SUPPORT/TRANSPORTAt Leisure Networks we understand that working parents may require extra support duringschool holiday periods. As such, we are happy to accommodate requests for before or after hours support. To assist us to provide this service, we ask that all requests for extra support are received with at least two weeks prior notice. Extra support is deemed anything earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of a scheduled activity, or any time after the scheduled nish time. NDIScharges apply for these supports. Home pick-ups/drop os can sometimes be arranged.

5222 3911 to discuss any extra support requests.
