Religion in Ancient EgyptReligion was very important to Ancient Egyptians. The Egyptians believed in many gods and goddesses. Amon-Ra was the sun god and worshipped throughout the kingdom. Osiris was the god of the underworld. Many gods and goddesses were pictured as part human and part animal.The Egyptians believed that when a person died, they entered the afterlife. In the afterlife they would need many things. They gathered all of these things in their tombs.
