Writing Workshop with Dianne Wolfer
National Novel Writing Month
It was a full house at Denmark Library with award-winning author Dianne
Wolfer’s writing workshop capping off National Novel Writing Month
NaNoWriMo.
Dianne shared to a captive audience details of her writing process. From hand
-written ideas to developing various drafts and poring over 100 year old
archival objects for research.
Participants were challenged to write their own life moments in different
points of view and 2-sentence
work-in-project summaries.
Dianne shared here insights in a
Q & A about agents and ways to
break into the publishing
industry.
NaNoWriMo is a month long
creative writing challenge where
participants from all over the
world are challenged to write a
50,000 word draft
Throughout November the library
hosted a series of “write ins”
every Friday and will now
continue a Writers Group every
Friday Morning at 10.30 am for
those wishing to develop their
writing in a supportive
environment.
