In memory of my sister Juanita who passed away in 2008, I decided to lose my hair and raise money for Breast Cancer Care WA, a wonderful organisation that provides support for those with breast cancer and their families.
What I didn’t know was that 59 other people would join in the day at Peel Ale House in Halls Head and 8 of us would lose our hair together and one other brave woman had her long hair chopped short. A wonderful show of support for such a great cause. Together we raised over $1800 and a fantastic day was had by all.
Thank you to everyone that donated to the cause and those that donated items for the raffle.
A big thank you to the wonderful entertainer James Wilson, who kindly donated his time on the day and also Davina Eden-Austen who was our hairdresser.
So yes, the CRC manager is now bald and I’M LOVIN’ IT!! Thankfully it’s not winter and my new hair style is a welcomed change in this summer heat.

This is a general course that would benefit all those at work, home or
for leisure. The course provides an excellent general grounding in first
aid and will enable you to perform appropriate first aid procedures and
basic life support skills.
A minimum of 12 people will be required for this course to proceed.
