Traditional Japanese Culture Experience Corner
<image>
Popular events are held each day on the airside after outbound passport control where airport users can experience Japanese culture and take photos of the event.
Events in February will include making origami, Ukiyo-e printing, Kimono dress up, Samurai armor as well as ninja outfits for children.
Monkiri Asobi Papercraft
Monkiri Asobi emerged from the culture of the ordinary
people in the Edo period. A sheet of paper is folded and
cut to a model, and when it is opened up, presents a
beautiful shape!
Monkiri Asobi has continued to evolve to its present day
form and can be made into traditional Japanese shapes,
animals and even flora.
Airport customers can watch a demonstration by an
instructor or even try their hand at it. <image>
