It’s as easy as…Confused between your clicks and your circulation. Bewildered by your bulks and your browsers. Don’t worry, we’ve put together this jargon buster to help explain some of the terms you may come across in your journey through the media world.

For the latest definitions visit www.abc.org.uk/jargon

Setting the standardABC inspires market confidence by delivering a valued stamp of trust across the media world. We work with standards agreed by the industry, for the industry. Each media sector has its own Reporting Standards Group drawn from media owners and agencies who work together to define these standards.

Digital media standards are set by JICWEBS (the Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards www.jicwebs.org).
