The Harlandale Independent School District has hired locally based Jasmine Engineering to serve as
project manager and commissioning agent for the district’s Early College High School (ECHS)
campus.
It will be a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics)-focused ECHS.
The 50,000-square-foot, $12 million project is slated to be completed in 2015.
The school has been made possible through partnerships with Palo Alto College and Texas A&M
University-San Antonio. The program offers students a chance to earn up to 60 college-credit hours.
The school opened in August 2014, and is temporarily housed at the Frank Tejeda Academy.
Tricia Lynn Silva covers real estate, retail, construction, and law firms; she also plans and
edits some special reports.
